- Day 1
Venice
You'll arrive in Venice and make your way to the hotel by car and water taxi. The group meets at 6 pm, so if you get in early, there's time to wander the bridges, squares, and canals before that. Dinner happens at a local restaurant with Venetian seafood and fresh vegetables on the menu.

- Day 2
Venice to Bled
Head to Postojna Caves for a 2 km train ride through Europe's largest karst cave system. You'll pass through narrow tunnels with stalactites and stalagmites overhead. After lunch, it's on to Ljubljana for a guided walk covering Ljubljana Castle, Town Hall, the Cathedral of St Nicholas, and Dragon Bridge. The open market is also on the itinerary. By evening you're in Bled.

- Day 3
Bled
Drive through Sava Bohinjka Valley to Lake Bohinj and take the cable car up Mt Vogel for views across the region. Back in Bled for lunch at a local spot. Then you'll hop on a traditional Pletna boat (the wooden ones with awnings) to the island and climb 99 steps to St Mary's Church. The evening is yours to explore and try the local Bled cream cake.

- Day 4
Bled to Rovinj
Drive to Motovun, a medieval town sitting on a cone-shaped hill in the Mirna River Valley where truffles are hunted. A family farm visit includes truffle tasting with fritaja (Croatian omelette) and Istrian wines like Malvazija. Later you head to Rovinj on the Adriatic to explore the Old Town and St Euphemia Church. Your hotel is on a private island, reachable by boat.

Rovinj to Plitvice Lakes
Sleep in a bit before heading to Slunj and Rastoke along the Korana River. You'll walk through settlements with traditional wooden houses and water mills. From there, continue to your hotel near Plitvice Lakes National Park. An optional orientation walk with your leader is offered in the evening, with free time after if you'd rather rest.

- Day 6
Plitvice Lakes to Zadar
Explore Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO site with wooded hills, turquoise lakes, and waterfalls. Your leader guides you through the park's trails. Then it's to Zadar for an afternoon tour covering the Roman Forum, St Donatus' Church, St Grisigono's Church, St Mary's bell tower, St Anastasia's Cathedral, and People's Square. There's an optional museum visit, and the day finishes with a sunset drink by the bay.

- Day 7
Zadar
You have the full day in Zadar to yourself. Check out the Museum of Church Art, Archaeological Museum, or National Museum at your pace. The Sea Organ is worth a visit - it's a man-made organ using wave motion and 35 pipes to create music. Browse the fish markets, swim in the coastal waters, or just spend time at cafes watching people go by.

Zadar to Split
After breakfast, drive to Split through Sibenik. You'll walk through Sibenik's stone streets and alleys to see the 15th-century St Jacob's Cathedral (UNESCO-protected). Lunch happens here before you continue to Split, Croatia's second-largest city. Check in to your Feature Stay boutique hotel on the main square. This property opened as Split's first cafe back in the 1700s. An optional group dinner is available this evening.
