The tour was a great value and met my expectations for a comprehensive tour of the historic sites of the Nile valley. I have been fascinated with Egyptian history for a few years now and have watched several hours of lectures and read the articles to prepare. The tour guide we were offered we’re quite knowledgeable in their prepared remarks and quick to answer questions. Our Cairo accommodations were outstanding, although a bit remote from the historic sites. The Nile cruise boat was very good although we found the food to be just average. The schedule is demanding and we were quite tired by the end, but I can’t think of anything that we should’ve skipped. Communications during the tour were unreliable when we were transferred from Cairo to the Nile and then back, and there was lots of confusion regarding who we were supposed to contact for information. In the end, however, we didn’t miss any important flights or departures. Our group size varied from 2 to 4 in the Cairo area and then 10 on the Nile cruise, which was fun as our group had quite a good time together. Overall, I’m very memorable Trip.!Show more
