Thank you for your feedback. However, we feel it is important to provide some context regarding the airport pickup in Istanbul, as the circumstances described in this review do not reflect the efforts made by our team.
Our representative was at Istanbul Airport as arranged, waiting with the designated company sign and following the provided arrival information. After your flight landed, our team repeatedly attempted to contact you using every contact method available to us, including phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails. Unfortunately, we received no response or communication from you.
Our representative remained at the airport for approximately four hours after the flight had landed in an effort to locate you. During this time, we also continued trying to reach you. At no point were we contacted to advise that you could not locate our representative or that you had decided to arrange alternative transportation. Had we received a call or message, our team would have immediately assisted.
Regarding being dropped near the hotel, certain areas of Istanbul have vehicle-access restrictions, meaning taxis and transfer vehicles cannot always reach the hotel entrance directly. Unfortunately, these local traffic restrictions are outside the control of the tour operator.
We are also disappointed that a two-star rating for an approximately two-week journey across Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan focuses solely on this incident without reflecting the overall experience provided throughout three countries.
The tour included extensive arrangements across Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan, including accommodations, guided sightseeing, transportation, international flights between the destinations, a Nile cruise, local representatives, guides, drivers, and airport assistance. Following the difficulty experienced on arrival in Turkey, we even took additional precautions for subsequent arrivals to ensure our representatives were positioned to meet and assist you as directly as possible.
Throughout the remainder of the journey, our teams in all three countries continued to provide the scheduled services and assistance to ensure the trip operated comfortably and smoothly.
We fully understand that having to pay approximately US$50 for alternative transportation was frustrating. However, an airport transfer can only be successfully completed when both parties are able to locate and communicate with one another. Our representative was present, our team made repeated attempts to contact you, and we remained waiting for approximately four hours without receiving a response.
We respect every guest’s right to share their experience, but we also believe future travelers reading this review deserve the complete context. We remain proud of the considerable work our teams across Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan put into delivering this multi-country journey and regret that those efforts were not reflected in the review.
