Will the Northern Lights be seen?

December is within the prime season to view the Northern Lights (roughly September to April) because nights are long and dark. However even in a good location and season, auroras are never guaranteed as conditions have to line up. Best overall time to go: late September to October or March for this area of Canada.

I am writing regarding the Northern Quebec: Winter Lodge Escape tour. I noticed that the tour is currently sold out, but I would be traveling solo. Would there be any possibility to join the group?
