Your Bella Italia adventure starts this evening in Venice. Head to your hotel and meet your tour director and fellow travelers at 6 pm for a welcome dinner. This is your chance to get to know everyone before the real exploring begins.

Venice
Today you'll see Venice from the water and on foot. Board a private boat and glide through the canals, taking in the city's layout from a different perspective. After that, a guided walk takes you through St. Mark's Square, the Basilica, Doge's Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll also watch a glassblower at work, then you'll have free time to wander around on your own and soak in more of Venice.

Pisa to Florence
Today's a travel day from Venice toward Florence, covering about 240 miles (420 km). On the way, you'll stop in Pisa so you can photograph the famous Leaning Tower. It's a quick break before continuing on toward your next destination.

- Day 4
Florence to Assisi
Florence reveals its Renaissance side on a guided tour. You'll see Michelangelo's David at the Academy of Fine Arts, check out Giotto's Bell Tower, walk through the Baptistry with its Gates of Paradise, and head to Signoria Square. After touring Florence, you'll travel about 112 miles (180 km) to Assisi for the evening.

- Day 6
Rome
Rome's legendary sites fill your day on this guided tour. You'll go through the Vatican Museums and stand before Michelangelo's work in the Sistine Chapel. From there, you'll see St. Peter's Square and Basilica, then head to the Colosseum. The afternoon is free, so you can explore Rome's neighborhoods, grab lunch at a local trattoria, or revisit any sites you want to see again.
