Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
You'll get picked up from your hotel at 07:00 and start driving through the Atlas Mountains toward Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah where you can walk around and see traditional Moroccan architecture up close. After that, you'll head to Ouarzazate for lunch, then pass through the rose gardens near Kalaat Mgouna on your way to Boumalne Dades. By evening you'll be settled at your accommodation with dramatic gorge walls surrounding the area, and you'll have dinner before the overnight stay.

Tinghir to Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll check out the hillsides and narrow valley around Tinghir, with its rocky walls and stream running through. The drive to Merzouga takes you through Erfoud, known for fossils, and the landscape changes as you get closer to the desert. Once you arrive, you'll spend about an hour on camel trekking across the sand dunes to catch the desert sunset. The evening includes dinner at the camp and traditional Moroccan music under the stars.

Merzouga to Marrakech
Wake early to see the Saharan sunrise, then you'll have a hearty breakfast followed by a Berber breakfast outside the camp where you can soak in the desert atmosphere. From there, you'll trek back to Merzouga by camel, and then it's a long drive back to Marrakech passing through Rissani, Nkob, and Ouarzazate with stops along the way so you can rest and grab meals.

Marrakech to Casablanca
You'll leave Marrakech at 09:00 heading for Casablanca. When you arrive, there's a panoramic tour that includes Place de la Ligue Arabe and a walk along Corniche Ain Diab, plus the elegant Anfa district and the exterior of Hassan II Mosque. After that you'll check into your hotel for a break, and later in the evening you'll head out for dinner.

Rabat - Meknes - Fes
Following breakfast, you'll do a guided sightseeing tour along boulevard de la Corniche where there are restaurants and shisha lounges, then drive the coastal road through Anfa with Hassan II Mosque passing by. Next you're heading to Rabat to see the Royal Palace, Kasbah of Oudayas (great views of the Bouregreg river), and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V plus Hassan Tower. Later you'll drive to Meknes to explore the imperial walls, gates like Bab el Mansur, Agdal pond, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. By evening you'll reach Fes for dinner and your overnight stay.

Fes
You'll spend the full day in Fes exploring one of the best preserved historic towns from the Arab-Muslim world. Starting at Bab Boujloud (the Blue Gate), you'll walk into the 19th-century medina and begin from Dar el-Makhzen (royal palace). The walking tour covers the Andalusian Mosque, fountains including Nejjarine Fountain, and Medersa (Koranic schools). You'll visit Batha Palace museum and then check out the Chouwara tanneries and the busy souks.

Fes to Marrakech
After breakfast you'll leave your hotel at 08:30 heading south and crossing through the Middle Atlas mountains. You'll reach the cedar forests where endangered Barbary apes live, with cedar trees growing at over 1600-1700m elevation. There's a short break in Beni Mellal to see wildlife and enjoy the nature around you, then you'll drive through green valleys and mountain views of the Middle Atlas before arriving back in Marrakech.
