Entebbe to Kampala
Your private guide meets you at Entebbe International Airport and drives you to Kampala. After checking into Cassia Lodge, you'll have dinner and get a briefing about what's coming up on your safari, so you know what to expect over the next several days.

- Day 2
Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Head out to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you'll track white rhinos with a guide. Then you continue through the countryside toward Murchison Falls National Park. Once you reach Pakuba Safari Lodge, you can settle in and have dinner with views of the Nile River.

Landmarks Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Murchison Falls National Park - Day 3
Murchison Falls National Park
Start early with a game drive to look for elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffalo. Later in the day, take a boat cruise up the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls where you'll see hippos, crocodiles, and lots of birds. If you're up for it, there's a hike to the top of the falls for the views.

Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park
Drive west through Uganda toward Kibale Forest National Park with stops along the way to take photos and grab lunch. Once you arrive, check into your lodge set right in the rainforest and get ready for chimpanzee trekking that's coming up soon.

Landmarks Kibale Forest National Park - Day 5
Kibale Forest National Park
Trek into Kibale Forest where you'll watch chimpanzees going about their day in the wild. After lunch, take a guided walk through Bigodi Wetlands to see monkeys, birds, and local plants. Back at your lodge, you'll have dinner and can relax for the evening.

Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through rolling hills and small villages along the way. You can do an afternoon game drive if you want to start spotting wildlife, or just head straight to your lodge to rest and settle in.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early game drive lets you search for lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and antelope across the park. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds from the water. Dinner back at your lodge wraps up the day.

Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, passing through nice landscapes and local communities. You'll check into your lodge and rest for the gorilla trekking happening tomorrow. The evening is free to take in the forest surroundings from your lodge.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Before sunrise, your experienced guide takes you into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to track a habituated mountain gorilla family. You'll walk through dense jungle watching how the gorillas interact and behave in their natural setting, which is something you won't forget.

Bwindi to Entebbe
After breakfast, begin the long drive back to Entebbe, which runs about 470 to 500 kilometers and typically takes 8 to 9 hours depending on road conditions. Alternatively, you can arrange a quicker return using a domestic flight from airstrips at Kihihi or Kisoro if you prefer.
