- Day 1
Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and head to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to do as you like, whether that's walking around the city to get a feel for Peru's capital or just relaxing after travel. Lima's food scene is really something, so if you're up for it, try some ceviche or other local dishes at one of the many restaurants around the city.

Lima to Puno
After breakfast, you'll fly to Puno, which sits right on Lake Titicaca's shores. Once you arrive, focus on getting used to the altitude, which is noticeably high here. Spend the afternoon wandering through Puno's streets or head to Plaza de Armas. Later, you might enjoy a quiet evening down by the lake before dinner.

Lake Titicaca
A full day on Lake Titicaca starts with the Uros Floating Islands, where you'll see how locals built their homes from totora reeds. - Day 4
Puno to Cusco
You'll board the Titicaca Train for a scenic ride through the Andes toward Cusco. The train offers gourmet meals and live music, so you can relax while looking out at snow-capped peaks and wide plains below. The journey takes you through Abra La Raya at 4,300 meters/14,100 feet, the highest point. You arrive in Cusco in the evening and settle into your hotel.
