Itinerary
- Day 1
Durres - Tirana
You'll arrive in Tirana and connect with your guide, then head to Durres about 40 minutes away. There you can walk around the ancient City Walls that Emperor Anastasius I built and check out the Roman Amphitheater, which is quite impressive. After that, take some time for a casual stroll along the coast before driving back to Tirana. Once you're back, you'll visit BUNK'ART 1, a historical museum housed inside an underground bunker that covers Albania's communist period. Later in the afternoon, your guide will show you around Tirana's city center, stopping at Skanderbeg Square and the Et'hem Bey Mosque. The day wraps up with a welcome dinner at a traditional Albanian restaurant where you can try local specialties.

- Day 2
Tirana
After breakfast, you'll drive a scenic 21-kilometer route to Bovilla Lake, with about half the drive on unpaved roads. From there you'll hike to Gamti Mountain summit, taking roughly 40 minutes to reach the top and take in the lake and surrounding hills. You'll grab food at a nearby cave during the break, then hike back down and return to Tirana. The rest of your afternoon is free to wander around cafes, do some shopping, or just stroll through the city.

Tirana to Shkodra to Kruja to Tirana
After breakfast you'll head north to Shkodra, Albania's largest city overlooking Lake Shkodra with the Albanian Alps behind it. You'll walk through the Gjuhadol District seeing Italian and Austrian architecture, then visit Rozafa Castle for views in all directions across the lake and mountains. You can optionally check out the Marubi Museum or eat lunch at an agritourism restaurant. Then you'll travel to Kruja to visit the Skanderbeg Museum inside Kruja Castle and walk the traditional Bazaar before heading back to Tirana.

- Day 4
Tirana to Berat to Tirana
You'll leave Tirana for about a 2-hour drive to Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the 'City of a Thousand Windows' because of its Ottoman-era design and white stone houses. You'll explore Berat Castle, a living fortress with panoramic views, and visit the Onufri Museum to see Byzantine iconography. Later you'll walk through the historic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica separated by the Osum River. If you're interested, you can taste local wines or raki and have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Tirana by late afternoon.

- Day 5
Tirana to Durres
You'll check out and transfer to Durres, 40 minutes away, Albania's popular seaside destination with wide sandy beaches and a vibrant waterfront. After checking into your beachfront hotel, spend the afternoon relaxing by the sea and strolling the waterfront. Spa treatments, paddleboarding, and jet skiing can be arranged if you want them. In the evening, you'll dine at a seaside restaurant with fresh seafood and sunset views over the Adriatic.
