Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakesh to Dades Gorges
You'll leave Marrakech while it's still early and head into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing through Tizi n'Tichka Pass. From there, you'll spend time on a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, which sits dramatically on a hillside with its mud-brick structures. After that, you'll head to Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate to see the historic fortress. The drive continues through the scenic 'Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,' and you'll arrive in Boumalne Dades by evening for your first night in the valley, surrounded by steep rock formations.

- Day 2
Dades Gorges to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll travel along the 'Road of a Thousand Kasbahs' heading toward Todra Gorge, where limestone cliffs rise over 300 meters high above you. There's a walk through this canyon, which is quite something to see. Later, you'll stop in Erfoud to check out fossil marble workshops before continuing to Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara. By late afternoon, you'll hop on a camel for a trek into Erg Chebbi at sunset. You'll stay at a luxury desert camp and have traditional dinner with Berber music playing under the stars.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Marrakesh
Your morning starts with watching the sun come up over the Sahara dunes from the desert camp. After breakfast, you'll head back toward Marrakech, passing through different landscapes as you go—first desert plains, then the Valley of the Roses with its green fields. You'll climb back up through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka Pass, getting views of valleys and small traditional villages along the way. You should arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon.
