Istanbul
You'll land at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport where your driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you can settle in and rest up before the days ahead.

- Day 2
Cappadocia
This morning you're heading out for a full-day guided tour through Cappadocia. You'll start at Göreme Museum to see the rock-cut churches and their colorful frescoes, then move through Devrent Valley where the rock formations look like animals. After that, you're stopping in Monks Valley (Paşabağı) and heading to Avanos for traditional Turkish lunch and a pottery-making session. Later in the day, you'll catch the views at Göreme Panorama and climb up to Uchisar Castle before returning to your hotel.

- Day 3
Cappadocia
You're spending another full day exploring Cappadocia, this time focusing on the valleys and underground history. Rose Valley comes first with its pink-tinted rock formations, then Çavuşin where you'll see the old rock-cut houses and churches. Pigeon Valley shows off the dovecotes carved into the volcanic rock, and then you're heading underground to explore the ancient cities where Christians once hid out with their bedrooms, churches, and storage areas. Before heading back to your hotel, you'll stop at Ortahisar to check out the castle-like rock formation and historic stone houses.

- Day 4
Cappadocia to Antalya
After breakfast you'll check out and visit the museum dedicated to the 13th-century philosopher Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi, where you can learn about his ideas on tolerance and love. You're then seeing the Sultanhan Caravanserai, a 700-year-old stop from the Silk Road trade routes. Following lunch, you'll drive toward Antalya, arriving in time to check into your hotel and settle in for the evening.

- Day 5
Antalya
This morning involves riding a cable car up to Tunektepe at 1,365 meters for views of the coastline, mountains, pine forests, and the Mediterranean 24°C/75°F or so. You'll visit Duden waterfalls and walk through the park area there. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views, you've got 1 to 1.5 hours to explore Kaleici on your own, wandering the narrow stone streets and checking out the boutiques, art galleries, and museums before heading back.

Antalya to Kusadasi
After breakfast and checking out, you're driving to Pamukkale, the UNESCO World Heritage site known for its white terraces formed by warm spring water with calcium bicarbonate. You'll explore Hierapolis, the ancient city above it, seeing the massive necropolis with 1,200 gravestones and the Sacred Pool with Roman ruins still visible. Later, you're driving to Kuşadası where you'll check in and relax for the evening.

Kusadasi
You've got a full day of ancient history on your schedule today. You're heading to the House of Virgin Mary, a 6th-century AD church built on foundations from the 1st century where Mary supposedly spent her later years. Then comes Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities with its famous library (the third-largest in the ancient world) and the largest Roman theater in Asia. You'll also see what remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You'll return to your hotel as evening comes on.

- Day 8
Istanbul
You're arriving in Istanbul and meeting your guide at the airport for a half-day tour starting immediately. The Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) is first, where you can smell the cinnamon, saffron, mint, and all the other herbs. Then you're taking a boat cruise along the Bosphorus, the waterway between Europe and Asia, passing wooden villas, marble palaces, fortresses, and villages. You'll see Dolmabahce Palace, Rüstem Paşa Mosque, Rumeli Fortress, and Yıldız Palace from the water. After checking into your Istanbul hotel, you can rest for the evening.

- Day 9
Istanbul
You're spending the day visiting Istanbul's major landmarks. Hagia Sophia is the first stop, one of the largest buildings ever constructed and a religious center during the Byzantine period. Then you're heading to the Hippodrome, built by Roman Emperor Septimus Severus back in 203 AD. The Blue Mosque comes next with its six minarets and dome from 1616. After that, you're going underground into the Basilica Cistern, a massive underground reservoir with 336 giant columns. The Grand Bazaar with its 4,000 shops across 18 entrances is your final stop before returning to your hotel.
