Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik Airport and catch the Flybus to your hotel in Reykjavik. After checking in, the rest of the day is open for you to walk around the city on your own. Throughout your time in Iceland, you'll have an expert English-speaking guide who knows Icelandic solar eclipse astronomy inside and out.

- Day 2
Blue Lagoon - Reykjanes - Reykjavik
After breakfast, head to the Blue Lagoon for a soak in the geothermal waters. From there, you'll drive out to the Reykjanes Peninsula to see Gunnuhver mud pool, Brimketill lava rock pool, and Reykjanesviti lighthouse. Back in Reykjavik by afternoon, you'll get a guided tour of Hallgrimskirkja church, the Old Harbour, and Harpa Concert Hall, plus a tasting of traditional Icelandic food. Your evening is free to do what you want.

- Day 3
Total Solar Eclipse Experience
This morning and early afternoon are yours to spend in Reykjavik - you can join a whale watching cruise or browse shops on Laugavegur Street. At 4:00 PM, you'll board a boat heading to Faxafloi Bay for the eclipse. Totality hits at 5:48 PM and lasts one minute, with the full event running from 4:47 PM to 6:47 PM. Light snacks and wine come with your ticket, and eclipse glasses are provided. After it's over, return to shore and have dinner in Reykjavik.

Landmarks Faxafloi Bay - Day 4
Thingvellir National Park - Gullfoss - Geysir - Reykjavik
Leave Reykjavik early for the Golden Circle route. You'll see Thingvellir National Park where the Mid-Atlantic Rift splits the tectonic plates, plus Thingvallavatn lake. Next comes Gullfoss waterfall and Strokkur geyser, which shoots boiling water over 80 feet into the air every 5 to 7 minutes. Lunch includes hot spring-baked bread, butter, boiled eggs, and local herring. You're back in Reykjavik by evening with free time.
