Your guide will take you through the UNESCO-listed monuments scattered around the city, sharing stories about how the Romans built this place and what daily life looked like back then. After the tour wraps up, you'll have the afternoon and evening to yourself to wander around at your own pace. Many people spend time retracing Vincent van Gogh's steps since he lived here and painted some of his most important works during his stay. The light here in the late afternoon is particularly nice if you want to photograph the medieval buildings or grab dinner at one of the local restaurants.

It was not excellent but good…entertainment lacked they had a girl singing that was one of the bartenders and some bell ringers..tours were good.We had one issue we found out that people that were going to train station had their fare covered and we thought transfer was just to airport.both were 30 mins away from port.some people had their fare covered to train station .we had to pay 75 euro.this we found unfair.food was good and waiters were exceptional but rest of staff mainly cruise director didn’t go above and beyond.

This is the best river cruise we have had. The itinerary, staff, and organisation was excellent. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. We made some new, life-long friends. What a shame it had to end.
