Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana to Berat
You'll drive from Tirana toward Berat, which takes about an hour and a half. Before reaching the main town, stop in Belsh Village to take some photos and get a sense of the landscape around you. Once in Berat, head up to Berat Castle first to get your bearings and see the panoramic views across the old town. From there, check out the Red Mosque and the Church of the Holy Trinity, both key spots in the historic center. After grabbing lunch somewhere in town (that's on you to decide), walk through the Mangalem neighborhood where you'll find yourself on narrow streets that date back to Ottoman times. Cross over the historic Gorica Bridge to see another perspective of the town, then you have free time to wander around on your own before heading back to Tirana for the evening.
