Ephesus
Your day starts with a guided tour of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Ancient Wonders, then you'll walk through Ephesus and its remarkably preserved ancient streets. The Arcadian Way takes you past the Temple of Hadrian, and from there you head to the Celsus Library, where you can see the impressive facade and learn about this historic structure. After exploring the marketplace and Grand Theatre, you'll grab traditional Turkish lunch. Before heading back, there's time to check out the Ephesus Archaeological Museum, where artifacts help bring the city's history into focus. Local handicrafts are on display too, giving you a chance to see what artisans are making. You'll return to your hotel or cruise ship by evening.
