Your flight gets you to Tokyo this morning. Once you land, your driver meets you at the airport and takes you by private car to the hotel. It's a straightforward transfer that lets you settle in without any hassle, and then you'll have the rest of the day to get oriented and rest up after your journey.

- Day 2
Tokyo
This is your chance to explore Tokyo on your own schedule. You might head to Meiji Jingu Shrine for some quiet time, or check out the cherry blossoms at Shinjuku Gyoen or Ueno Park if they're in season. Ueno also has a zoo and several museums if you want to spend time indoors.

Mt. Fuji
Today you'll head into the Mt. Fuji region to see the natural landscape. Start at Lake Kawaguchi in Fujikawaguchiko, then take the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway up to Kawaguchiko Tenjozan Park where you'll get good views of the mountain. After that, wander through Oshino Hakkai village to see the clear spring water pools.

- Day 4
Hakone to Kyoto
The Hakone Day Tour takes you to Lake Ashino where you'll board the Hakone Pirate Ship for views of Mt. Fuji from the water. Then ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani to see the volcanic area. Later in the day, you'll take the Shinkansen bullet train from Odawara to Kyoto. Once you arrive, head to your hotel on your own to check in.

Kyoto is yours to explore today at whatever pace works for you. Grab a taxi or use public transportation to reach the Arashiyama district and walk through the bamboo forest and temples, or take the peaceful Philosopher's Path through Higashiyama where cherry trees line the route.

Kyoto and Nara
This tour covers southern Kyoto and Nara in one day. You'll start at Fushimi Inari Shrine to walk through the rows of vermilion torii gates and climb Mount Inari's trails. After that, visit the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum to learn about and taste traditional sake. Then it's on to Nara Park where you can see the deer roaming freely, followed by Todaiji Temple, which is one of the most historically important Buddhist temples in Japan.
