  1. Day 1

    Istanbul

    You'll arrive at Istanbul airport and head to your hotel by transfer. After checking in, the rest of the day is open so you can either settle in and rest or start wandering around the city on your own to get a feel for things.

  2. Day 2

    Istanbul

    This morning kicks off with Topkapi Palace, where you'll walk through the gardens and terraces that look out over the Bosphorus. From there, you'll see Hagia Sophia and its incredible architecture before grabbing lunch at a local spot. After lunch you'll check out the Blue Mosque with its famous Iznik tiles, then walk through the Roman Hippodrome and spend time in the Grand Bazaar. Your evening is free to do what you want.

    Istanbul

    After breakfast, you'll walk along the Golden Horn toward the Egyptian Bazaar, which is known for its vibrant spice stalls and atmosphere. Later, you'll take a boat tour on the Bosphorus and see both the European and Asian shores with their palaces, fortresses, and traditional wooden houses. The afternoon opens up for exploring Istanbul however you'd like.

    You'll leave Istanbul this morning and head to the airport for your flight to Athens. Once you land and get through to your hotel by transfer, the rest of the day is yours to either explore the city or take it easy after traveling.

  5. Day 5

    Athens

    A guided coach tour takes you to the Panathenaic Stadium, which happens to be the world's only all-marble stadium, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. The main event is the Acropolis with the Parthenon and other classical structures, followed by time at the Acropolis Museum with a guide. After that, the afternoon is free to wander Plaka's narrow streets and find tavernas, or head to Ermou Street for shopping.

    Athens

    Today you'll explore Athens at your own pace. You can shop on Ermou Street where high-street brands and local boutiques line the way, then head to Plaka for handmade crafts and unique items in smaller shops. If you're interested in antiques and local work, Monastiraki's flea market has plenty of that, or you could head to Thision where there are nice views of the Acropolis and plenty of cafes and restaurants.

For tours departing after February 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with On The Go Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
