Phoenix to Scottsdale
You'll arrive in Phoenix and make your way to Scottsdale whenever works best for you. This evening you'll meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group at a Welcome Dinner to kick things off.

- Day 2
Oak Creek Canyon - Grand Canyon National Park
Head out to Sedona, driving through Oak Creek Canyon with its red-rock buttes and canyon walls all around you. Once you get there, a Local Specialist will walk through the Grand Canyon's geological history. You have the option to stay at one of the lodges right inside the park if you'd like.

- Day 3
Glen Canyon - Navajo Nation
If you're interested, there's an optional flightseeing tour over the Grand Canyon early in the morning. Later you'll drive along Desert View Drive on the South Rim and stop at the Pueblo-style Watchtower to support the Inter-tribal Heritage Center. After that, you'll walk to Horseshoe Bend overlook and then head to the Navajo Nation for a local dining experience hosted by Diné community members.

Moab
Leave Page in 4x4 vehicles for a guided tour of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park with a Navajo guide. You'll have an outdoor lunch prepared by Diné tribe members who'll share stories about their connection to the land. Then it's a scenic drive to Moab, where your evening is free to walk around Main Street.

Canyonlands National Park
Spend the day in Arches National Park seeing how wind and rain formed the sandstone arches, including Delicate Arch and Balanced Rock. Later you'll head to Canyonlands National Park and visit Island in the Sky mesa, which sits 1,000 feet above the surrounding area with great views of the sandstone formations.

Durango
You'll arrive at Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO site, to learn about the Ancestral Puebloan people and their preserved cliff dwellings. The Cliff Palace is a key stop here. By evening you'll be at the historic Strater Hotel in Durango with time to walk around this historic town.

Durango
This day in Durango is yours to do as you please. You can drive the Million Dollar Highway through Ouray and Silverton, ride the coal-fired narrow-gauge train through the wilderness, or try white-water rafting on the Animas River if those appeal to you.

Travel along the High Road Scenic Byway, about 56 miles from Santa Fe to Taos through Northern New Mexico. You'll visit Taos Pueblo, a UNESCO site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities, with a tribal resident guide showing you adobe dwellings built around 1,000 years ago. Your hotel is just two blocks from Santa Fe's Historic Plaza.
