Munich
Your driver will pick you up at Munich International Airport and take you to your hotel. Check-in opens at 2:00 PM, though you might be able to get in earlier depending on availability. After dropping your bags, you'll have the rest of the day to yourself. Wander around the neighborhood, grab a bite, or just relax at the hotel and get oriented.

Munich
After eating breakfast at your hotel, head to the meeting point for a 2.5-hour walking tour of Old Town Munich. Your English-speaking guide will take you through Marienplatz, show you the Viktualien Market, stop by the Royal Residence and Opera House, and talk about the city's beer traditions and churches along the way. It's a solid introduction to what Munich's all about historically.

Munich to Neuschwanstein Castle
Early start today for a 10-hour trip out to Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps. You'll spend about two hours on the bus heading to Fussen, then explore the castle itself. This is the famous 19th-century fortress that King Ludwig II built, and you'll learn about its Romanesque Revival style and how it inspired Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle. The drive back to Munich takes you through the evening.
