- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll arrive at Keflavik Airport and take the Flybus transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik. After you get settled, the afternoon and evening are open for you to wander around the city at your own pace. Your guide, who specializes in solar eclipse astronomy, will meet up with you at some point to go over what's ahead on the tour.

- Day 2
Thingvellir - Geysir - Gullfoss - Hvolsvollur
Today you're heading out on the Golden Circle route with your guide. First stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO site where you can actually see the Mid-Atlantic Rift and Thingvallavatn lake. From there, you'll head to Fridheimar to check out the Icelandic horse stables and geothermal greenhouse. Next up is Strokkur geyser, which shoots boiling water about 80 feet into the air every 5 to 7 minutes. You'll finish the day at Gullfoss waterfall before driving to your hotel near Hella.

Eyjafjallajokull - Seljalandsfoss - Skogafoss - Reynisfjara - Hvolsvollur
This day focuses on Iceland's southern coast and its dramatic natural features. You'll see Eyjafjallajokull glacier volcano, then move on to Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. The Skogar Folk Museum is next, where you can walk through traditional farm buildings and see historical artefacts. After that, you'll drive to Reynisfjara beach to see the striking black volcanic sands. If you're up for it, there's an optional glacier hike on Solheimajokull available. You'll head back to your hotel in Hvolsvollur by evening.

Reykjavik
Your day starts on the Reykjanes headland where volcanic landscapes dominate the terrain. After that, you'll head to the Blue Lagoon for a soak with a complimentary drink and mud mask included, plus a towel for afterwards. Once you've had time to relax there, you'll make your way to Reykjavik and check into your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you'll travel to a prime viewing location positioned directly on the eclipse path. By 17:48:15, the total solar eclipse begins, and you'll experience roughly one minute of totality on August 12, 2026.

Your last morning in Iceland, you'll have time to grab breakfast and pack up. The Flybus transfer to Keflavik Airport is included, so you'll head out to catch your flight home.
