Yes, this is a confirmed and guaranteed departure but only until Bucharest. The part from Bucharest to Sofia needs to be arranged private. The cost for pre-accommodation in Budapest is €150 in a single room, with breakfast included. The cost for post-accommodation in Sofia is €90 in a single room, with breakfast included.

Do you meet us at each airport to and from? Would need a pickup on arrival and a drive to the airport upon final departure.

For this program, we will pick you up from your location in Budapest so you will need to arrange your accommodation and airport transfer before the first day. If you would like, we can arrange pre-accommodation and airport transfer for you at an additional cost. Please note that in Sofia, the airport transfer is not included either but we can also arrange this for you at an extra cost. During this program, you will be with the same guide from Day 1 until Day 6.

Regarding the Transylvania tour, this specific program does not include a full-day Transylvania excursion before or after, as it already passes by Bran Castle. The optional full-day Transylvania tour is part of a different program we offer and costs €120. The final day of this tour is in Sofia.

  Can you explain again, what do you mean by "The part from Bucharest to Sofia needs to be arranged private"? Isn't this the tour itself that I am going to be signing up for? On the same note, what do you mean by "guaranteed departure but only until Bucharest." The tour is starting from Bucharest right? So what does it mean that the departure is guaranteed only until Bucharest. Isn't that Day 1 of the tour? What happens to Day 2 and after?

  We need a minimum of 3 passengers to operate the tour. For the section from Budapest to Bucharest, we already have registered passengers. This means the tour is confirmed from Day 1 to Day 4. From Day 5 from Bucharest to Sofia, you will be the only traveler. Therefore we would need to arrange a private transfer and on the following day a private guide in Sofia to cover the rest of your tour which means you will need to cover extra 450 euro for that part of trip.

Also, I assume, if in the case of an unforeseen event from my end, which stops me from going on the tour (unlikely!) before 11 April 26, I will receive a refund on my deposit as listed on the website?

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
