Some incredible sights, especially Macchu Picchu and the journey from Uyuni to San Pedro across the salt flats. The CEO Fabi was excellent. It was quite a fast paced trip, a lot of it at altitude. Some hotels were more basix package than a Classics package, especially as in some locations better options were available. Some charged extra for drinking water and WiFi. Some of the optional extra activities were expensive and poor value. The 4x4s across the Salt Flats were cramped - we really needed 5 cars instead of 4 for the size of the group. But it was an amazing journey which we really enjoyed and for us the positives outweighed the negatives.Show more

It was a really great trip. My expectations were exceeded. The tour guide was nice and competent. The local guides were also very good. Overall, the trip was a bit "sporty" due to the many changes of location, climate zones and altitudes. The hotels were all in good locations, the rooms were sometimes poorly situated within the hotel (no outside windows, noisy street). The overnight stay in the host family seemed very isolated. The stay in the jungle should have been 3 nights, considering how much kerosene is thrown into the environment with the flights. I was a bit surprised at how many expenses were added on the spot with all the tips for the guides, the food,... Overall, however, it was a really good trip. The group size was just right and I gained many unforgettable impressions and insights into the country. Grade: 4.5/5Show more
