You'll arrive in Delhi and check into your hotel. There's a welcome briefing happening in the evening (details will be posted in the lobby), so you can use the rest of the day to settle in and get comfortable after your journey.

Delhi to Ranthambore National Park
Start the morning exploring Old Delhi's walled city, walking through the Red Fort area and seeing the Jama Mosque along with other colonial buildings. After lunch, you'll transfer about six hours to Ranthambore National Park where your wildlife adventure begins.

Ranthambore National Park
Two game drives take you through Ranthambore National Park today, and each vehicle has a Forest Guard helping spot animals. Tigers are the main draw here, but you'll also see monkeys, deer, crocodiles, and tons of bird species if you're lucky.

Ranthambore to Bundi
From Ranthambore, it's a four-hour drive to Bundi, a charming town in the Aravali foothills. In the afternoon, you'll visit Bundi Fort, which sits on a hilltop overlooking the town's distinctive blue houses and features beautiful miniature paintings inside.

Bundi to Udaipur
Today's a five-hour drive covering 145 miles to Udaipur, a lakeside city known for its palaces overlooking Lake Pichola. The setting here is really one of India's most striking, with the lake and architecture creating that romantic atmosphere the city's famous for.

Udaipur
This morning you'll visit the City Palace with its ornate mosaics and mirror work, plus the Jagdish Temple featuring impressive black-stone sculptures. You may fit in Gulab Bag gardens or a boat trip on Lake Pichola. The afternoon is free to wander the city on your own.

The seven-hour road to Jodhpur includes a stop at Ranakpur's 15th-century Jain temple, where you'll see beautifully carved marble and 1,444 intricately carved pillars spread across 29 halls. By evening you'll arrive in Jodhpur, the blue city, with the massive fort dominating the skyline.

Jodhpur

Jodhpur to Pushkar
A six-hour transfer takes you to Pushkar, a sacred lakeside pilgrimage town. Once you settle in, there's time to explore the town and visit the holy Pushkar Lake, surrounded by several temples including the Bramha temple, the only one of its kind dedicated to that deity.

Pushkar to Jaipur
Spend the morning wandering Pushkar's narrow streets looking for souvenirs or strolling by the lake watching the day begin. After lunch, you'll drive about three hours to Jaipur, the pink-painted city built on a grid pattern with broad avenues.

Jaipur
An early dawn walking tour with a local guide takes you through the Pink City's waking streets, past markets and temples, through different city blocks, and you'll meet local artisans. After breakfast at the hotel, a mid-morning tour covers the Jantar Mantar observatory, the Palace of the Winds, and Amber Palace overlooking the city.

The 4.5-hour journey to Agra includes a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the beautifully preserved deserted royal city from 1571, where you'll see red sandstone mosques, palaces, and halls of audience. Upon reaching Agra, you'll visit the Red Fort with its massive sandstone walls, white-marble Pearl Mosque, and palaces from Akbar's era.

Agra to Delhi
Rise early to watch sunrise light up the Taj Mahal's white marble when fewer crowds are around and birds sing in the gardens. You'll explore the inner chambers with your tour leader. After breakfast, the 4 to 5-hour drive back to Delhi includes a stop at Wildlife SOS's Elephant Conservation Centre to learn about their rescue work. You'll spend your final night in Delhi, and the tour leader can help arrange a group dinner.
