Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tallinn
You'll arrive in Tallinn on Friday afternoon. An optional transfer takes you from the airport to your hotel, where you'll check in and meet up with the group over a welcome drink. You're staying in Tallinn for three nights, so this is your chance to settle in and get oriented to the city.

- Day 2
Tallinn
A guided tour walks you through Tallinn's medieval Old Town, hitting the old city walls, Toompea Castle, the Cathedral Church, and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. You'll also see the Old Town Hall and the Great Guild Hall. After lunch, there's an optional afternoon visit to Kadriorg Park and the KUMU art museum. If you're interested, a medieval dinner at Maikrahv restaurant is available in the evening.

Tallinn
This day is free for you to do as you please in Tallinn. If you want something more structured, there's an optional full-day excursion to Lahemaa National Park where you can see Palmse Manor, Sagadi Manor, and the Vihula Manor vodka museum. Otherwise, you can wander around the city at your own pace.

Tallinn to Tartu
You'll travel from Tallinn to Tartu, Estonia's university city and where the nation gained statehood. The university here, founded in 1632, is one of the oldest in Northern Europe. Once you arrive, you'll walk through the charming old town and see Raekoja Square with its beautiful town hall.

- Day 5
Tartu to Grasi Manor, Latvia
Heading south from Tartu into Latvia, the route takes you through Aluksne and then to Stameriena, known as the pearl of European Romanticism. You'll stop in Cesvaine to visit the private brewery and do a beer tasting. By evening you'll reach your neoclassical hotel in the heart of Latvia and have dinner at Grasi Manor.

Grasi to Daugavpils, Latvia
Starting from Grasi, you'll head to Aglona to see the late Baroque Aglona Basilica and a ceramics workshop. Then it's on to Daugavpils, Latvia's second largest city, where you'll tour the historic center, the 19th century fortress, and the Mark Rothko Art Centre. Before settling in for the night, you'll visit Sventes Manor just outside the city.

Daugavpils to Vilnius, Lithuania
The route continues south into Lithuania, reaching Aukstatija National Park around midday. You'll do an easy hike through the park, wandering through landscapes with lakes, streams, and forests. After that, you'll visit Paluse, a pretty lakeside town with a famous wooden church. By late afternoon you'll be on your way to Vilnius, where you'll stay for three nights.

Vilnius
Vilnius is known for having over 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches scattered throughout. The morning tour takes you through the Old Town to see Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, St. Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne's Church, the Old University, and the Gates of Dawn. An optional afternoon visit to the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania is available to see the fortifications and weapons collection.

Vilnius
In the morning, you have the option to visit the Museum of Occupations and Freedom Struggles, which is housed in the former KGB office and shows exhibitions on the Soviet period from 1940-1941. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Trakai, Lithuania's medieval capital, where you can see Trakai Castle on an island in Lake Galve. A traditional Lithuanian dinner at Senoji Trobele restaurant is available in the evening if you're interested.

Vilnius to Nida, Lithuania
You'll travel from Vilnius westward into Lithuania. First, you'll stop in Kaunas, the former capital, to check out the beautiful old town and the elegant white baroque town hall. After that, there's a short walk in Klaipeda before you board a ferry to the Curonian Spit and reach the seaside resort of Nida. An optional authentic fish dinner at Tik Pas Jona restaurant is available in the evening.

Nida to Liepaja, Latvia
The morning offers an optional half-day tour of the Curonian Spit, a narrow 100 km strip of land between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon. You'll see small fishing villages, pine forests, and sand dunes, including the Parnidis Dune, Naglis Dune, and Witches' Hill in Juodkrante, plus Thomas Mann's summer house. In the early afternoon you'll head to Liepaja, where casual dinner at the Red Sun Buffet beach cafe is an option.

- Day 12
Liepaja to Riga, Latvia
Starting with a short walk through Liepaja's old town to see the Holy Trinity Church, you'll then visit Jurmala Park and the former naval port area with its famous Orthodox cathedral. From there, you'll drive through southern Latvia to the Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. After touring the palace, you'll arrive in Riga by late afternoon.

Riga
Riga, founded in 1201 by German Bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and has a mix of architectural styles from different periods. The morning tour goes through the Art Nouveau district and Old Town, showing you Riga Castle, the Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Great and Small Guild, and the Freedom Monument. An optional afternoon visit to Jurmala, Latvia's seaside resort known for wooden architecture and sandy beaches, is available. An optional organ concert in the cathedral church is offered in the evening.
