For Contiki's Active Alps, the required age range is 18–35 years old. You can expect to travel with a group of like-minded young adventurers, usually a great mix of solo travelers and friends. We can usually cater for gluten-free diets and celiac disease, especially for included group meals. However, options can vary a bit by destination and local suppliers in the Alps, so we recommend mentioning your celiac disease and gluten-free requirement on your booking and letting your Trip Manager know at the start of the adventure so they can help coordinate meals and advise you on safer choices during free time. We take dietary needs seriously, but because celiac disease is medical and cross-contamination can be a concern, we always suggest you still bring some safe snacks and double-check ingredients on the spot. For this adventure, you are free to choose which airports you fly into and out of, as flights are not bundled in the adventure. Most travelers typically fly into a major nearby airport (for example, Munich, Innsbruck, or sometimes Zurich, depending on their wider plans) and then take a train to Hopfgarten/Wörgl Train Station for the start. At the end, people often depart from airports near Lauterbrunnen (commonly Zurich or Geneva) after taking the train out of the valley. At the moment, you would need to arrange your own flights separately from the adventure.

- For any tour departing before November 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Contiki. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Contiki will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
