  This is the second time now that we booked something on TourRadar that didn’t turn out as expected and not sure if we will book any further tours through the website. This particular “tour” is really a coach that drives in a big circle around various countries and people get on and off at various places. I assumed that everyone would start and end with us and was looking forward to the social part of a tour group after I had already travelled the last 4 weeks independently with my husband. It was no group as such, just individual groups/couples travelling on the same bus. It would have been terrible to be a solo traveller. Hotels were nice but not in city centres, around 30 minutes travel on public transport to get for example into Trondheim. Luckily we came the day before and did the sightseeing then. The “morning” in Trondheim at the start of the tour was actually a 30 minutes stop at the cathedral. In general, prepare a list of things that you want to see and do , before you get there as for example in Bergen, we had 5 hours free time, before we got driven to the hotel. The explanations during the bus ride were in Spanish and English. I thought we booked an English speaking tour. We also travelled with another coach that was full plus 24 in our coach which made going to the bathroom at the toilet break stops very annoying plus lining up at the lifts every time we all arrived at the hotel. The driver was very good and got us everywhere safely. We spent a lot of time driving, good idea to be prepared and have your own entertainment sorted plus charger packs etc as there are no charging facilities on the bus and no wifi. Plenty to see looking out of the window admiring the amazing nature Norway has to offer.Show more

Of course that means that the included transfer from the airport of day 1, is not provided. Instead they do give you a hotel to hotel transfer, on day 1. Every day you sleep on a different city.
