  We loved this tour! I traveled with my family from the U.S. - 8 adults in total, including my mom who is 77. This was our first trip to Ireland and this tour was perfect for our group. It took out all of the stress and planning coordination with so many people and we were able to enjoy every minute of it. The tour bus was comfortable and our driver, Michael, was wonderful. We were lucky to have 2 tour guides on our bus - Cesar for our English group and Jose for the Spanish group. They were so great and I appreciated having them both. Jose played traditional Irish flute for us quite a bit and it was a real treat. We spent more time with our guide, Cesar, who was amazing. He was so patient and kind, and really made us feel welcome. My mom has arthritis and limited mobility, so we were often moving more slowly than others, but he never made us feel rushed. We loved learning the history from our guides and were so amazed at every stop. It was well planned overall and for us it was the right amount of structure and free time. We covered lots of places that I wanted to stay longer, but it was a great introduction to Ireland and I'm glad we got to see so much. Wonderful experience - would highly recommend!Show more

  While the DESTINATIONS ... for the ACTUAL TRAVEL DAYS (4) were great. The WHOLE thing was BADLY ORGANIZED. Day one ..NOBODY / EUROMUNDO/ OR ANYONE ... let me know I was being JUMPED INTO a TOUR in PROGRESS coming from ENGLAND .. that would continue AFTER MY 7 DAYS.. MY intenary SPECIFIED a WELCOME MEETING at the beginning. IT NEVER HAPPENED..Next day .. after HOURS with HOTEL STAFF ...to eventually get a phone number directly with the GUIDE .. the HOTEL had NO NOTICE ... as required of a TOUR MEETIN TIME. That next day I was told .. I'm being DUMPED INTO DUBLIN DOWNTOWN .. ON MY OWN ... NO MAPS, NOTHING ... A COMMENT from the GUIDE that showed up briefly .. GO find a tram (??) and be back late afternoon. Would NOT ASSIST ..information or answer essential information.. I ended up staying at the hotel. The TOUR destinations were GREAT on the BUS next day. BUT continuously .. because 36 out of 45 people spoke only SPANISH .. her (the GUIDE) had to go back and forth on speaking ... and catered NOT to the smaller ENGLISH group. One night ... just abandoned the ENGLISH group (refusing to go to the HOTEL .. which WE had to get them to open DINNER for us few after 9PM at a different hotel in GALWAY. The Spanish 36 were taken to their hotel immediately on arriving Galway ... before 7 PM ... and got their dinners. We did NOT want to be left on the STREET in Galway .. but she refused to budge .. and left us.Show more

Everyone was very pleasant, the food was great, the sites stunning. The only thing that was lacking was adequate wifi access in public spaces and on the tour bus.Show more

  What we seen was great and noteworthy. The information provided was not!! The whole tour started badly. We weren't in the tour group we went with from the start. We were shoved on a bus of non English speaking people on the first day in Dublin. The tour guide I felt sorry for because he had to speak Spanish and then translate to my husband and I. Ridiculous. Then guide changed again for next day and English is not great, but the worst of it was there was no ongoing history of the areas. It was read from a piece of paper. It could have been better, much better. Was not worth our money I feel. We will go back, but we will drive around.Show more

All our guides possess an English certificate of at least B2 (Upper Intermediate) to ensure a smooth flow of the tour and to guarantee that they can actively engage in conversations with passengers, express themselves fluently, and narrate histories.   The 5-night tour was well-organized, the destinations comprehensive and the hotels comfortable. Communications before the tour began were frustrating as we could only respond with Europamundo in Spain. Europamondo guides are not recruited from Ireland and we lost the benefit of local interpretation and experience. The half-day city tour of Dublin wasn’t good, not the guide‘s fault, as she had to please tour members in English and Spanish while the bus moved well past the thing she was referring to. Our guide for the rest of the tour worked hard and was very friendly. The Irish driver was excellent.Show more

  While we loved Ireland and made some new friends we were very disappointed by the organisation at the start of the tour and the fact that we did not have an Irish guide made it difficult. There was no history along the way. It was just read from a piece of paper. We had some extremely rude people on there too, but you get that anywhere.Show more

  I cannot recommend this tour. Everyone on the tour spoke English except the tour guide. Many of the historical facts he was tell us were totally inaccurate. Luckily for us the coach driver was very knowledgeable and helped out. This is the second Europamundo tour we have done, both on this trip and we will not be doing another one. Avoid like the plague!!!!Show more
