  Overall, my Europamundo experience was good and well-organized. The itinerary covered many important destinations, and the tour flow was smooth. The guides were knowledgeable, especially when it came to history, which is clearly one of Europamundo’s strengths. However, at times there was too much historical information, to the point that it became overwhelming. Some travelers enjoy history in depth, but others also want time to explore iconic modern landmarks and interesting spots outside of museums and old buildings. For example, in Prague, famous attractions like the Dancing House and the rotating Kafka Head were not included in the itinerary, which felt like a missed opportunity. History is important, but tourism today is a mix of culture, landmarks, local life, and visual experiences. A more balanced approach would make the tour more enjoyable for travelers with different tastes. We still enjoyed the trip overall, but adding more variety along the way would make it even better.Show more

  Overall I enjoyed the experience. Well organized, and things ran mostly smoothly. However, buses were consistently late in the mornings, usually due to traffic. I understand this isn't anyone's fault, but more consideration should be made to allow drivers to leave earlier in the morning to accommodate for this ongoing issue. Also, travelling with a severe food allergy, I didn't receive any information from guides that they knew about my allergy.Show more

  🚩 Major Issues Encountered 1. Lack of Guide Support Our guide was notably unhelpful. Every time we asked questions, he would dismissively say he would explain later, which rarely happened. More concerning, he did not accompany us during free time, leaving an elderly couple dependent on my mother and me for assistance. Furthermore, due to the guide’s strong accent, the couple could not understand him, and I had to act as a translator throughout the tour. 2. Misleading Itinerary in Vienna The itinerary stated that the first day would include a panoramic city tour of Vienna, showcasing “majestic avenues, beautiful palaces, large parks, and the vibrant city center,” followed by a visit to the Grinzing district. In reality, we only drove past parts of the city and stopped at one palace, without entering the city center. We were dropped off near the opera house and instructed to make our own way back to the hotel. Additionally, we stopped at a summer garden but were only given one hour, which included the time it took to walk to and from the bus—a considerable distance. As a result, we had no real time to see or appreciate the gardens. 3. Substandard Accommodation The accommodation in Vienna was not a hotel but rather the Citadines apartment building, located far from the center and not up to the 4-star standard advertised. In Prague, the hotel was again far from the center (30 minutes by car), and my mother, who is 70 years old, is unable to shower due to the high side of the bathtub. As this situation is unacceptable, we have booked alternate accommodation in the city center and will not continue with the rest of the tour. 4. Poorly Organized Optional Activities The optional classical music concert caused unnecessary confusion. The guide himself said he didn’t know why it was offered due to the conflicting Grinzing trip. Although the elderly couple had already booked the concert, they were told they couldn’t attend. Eventually, the guide booked it for us—but without transportation. We had to pay for our own taxis (around €20 each way). Attending the concert also meant we missed the Grinzing visit, which had been included in the tour package. 5. Communication Failures The first afternoon in Vienna was wasted. We waited for the itinerary all afternoon, as instructed. Despite asking several times at reception—who even contacted your offices—we were told the guide would arrive by 8 PM to deliver it. This did not happen, and the elderly couple also waited in vain. 6. Unprofessional Response to Refund Request After experiencing these issues, we requested a partial refund for the services that were not delivered as promised and compensation for the additional costs incurred (taxis, missed experiences, alternative hotel). The response we received was dismissive and unhelpful, further adding to our frustration.Show more

We fully understand your dissatisfaction; however, after carefully reviewing your case—and as we already explained extensively by email—we must reiterate that all the points you raised have already been thoroughly addressed with the corresponding documentation, screenshots, legal references, and detailed explanations. From the outset, we have shown that the services you now question—such as the panoramic format of the Vienna visit, the hotel locations, the language used on tour, the logistics of the optional excursions, and the free time policy—were clearly and publicly detailed prior to purchase. This information was available on our website and in the “My Trip” section, to which you had full access before and during your journey. We also provided evidence of where and how this information could be found. In addition, the tour was delivered exactly as described and contracted, and we have demonstrated that all services included in the program were carried out. The guide, made every effort to support passengers, including you and your mother, within the scope of the service. He even took additional steps to help you attend the classical concert, which was not included and had not met the minimum participant requirement. We would also like to highlight that at no point during the tour did you contact our emergency team to express any dissatisfaction or request assistance. As a result, we were unable to help you or address any of your concerns in real time. It is essential that passengers communicate with us during the trip in order to allow us to act accordingly—especially if they are considering abandoning the tour, which, as per our policy, carries a 100% cancellation cost once the services have begun. We truly regret that your expectations did not match the nature of the tour you selected. While we strive to make our information as clear and transparent as possible, it is each traveler's responsibility to review all details before purchasing. Sincerely, Europamundo team

  The tour was disorganized. The guide imparted different information in different languages (I speak all 3). The Vienna guide kept arguing with her colleagues and took us to the front of a building and spoke endlessly (no mike, hard to hear) about the architecture and turned us over to a shopping center across the street. A complete waste of time. We did not know we'd be dumped off in Vienna by noon. We ended up returning to Schonebrun and the Belvedere to actually go inside. It would have been nice to know the itinerary AHEAD of time so we could plan. Several times we delivered our luggage to the bus in the middle of the street, with cars wizzing behind our backs. We had to unload all the luggage- in traffic- because the guide forgot that a certain passenger had to get out first. It took forever. Bratislava was too long a stop a total waste. Budapest local guide was knowledgeable. Prague local guide was knowledgeable. Frankfurt evening stop was chaotic and another waste. We walked to a bridge and walked back to the bus. Budapest cruise was nice. Prague cruise was a chaotic board. Guide was yelling and couldn't control the crowd. Guide in Germany had to be asked several times to get 10-12 passengers to stop playing their music out loud, eating and speaking VERY loudly and being generally disruptive. Skip this tour. Very little content too much time wasted. As a reference point, we've taken many bus tours in Europe. First and last for this company.Show more

  Firstly, the driver that was to pick me up at the train did not meet me there at the track. I was text his phone number which he did not answer after calling twice. I was then told to meet at a bakery in the train station. I am an American in Austria, who took a train from Germany, to meet them and somehow I am supposed to know where the bakery is in the main station in Vienna. I am on the What's App with the company, customer service line will not work, and told to hold for 2 minutes while I am waiting outside said bakery (thanks to helpful Austrians) and there is no driver. Seven minutes later, I ask what's the deal, they say the driver left because it had been over 15 minutes since my train was supposed to arrive (it was 8 minutes late btw) and he waited 20 and left. Now onto the buses no Wi-Fi. Buses changed 3 times in 7 days and the only way to charge is by a shared power strip for the entire bus of 45 people that will require your power adapter. Some hotels were good, others, meh. As the tour is relatively inexpensive the price matches what you're booked in so I can't complain, just a head's up. Another thing to know, they say it's a guided tour but our first guide (Mario), although nice, rarely spoke. The second guide (Patricia) was awesome, but we had her for one day. The information you get is from the "local guides" in Vienna, Budapest, and Prague. That is great but you see them for at most 3 hours. So you start your day early and our done by lunch. Know this in advance - have an itinerary of your own or you literally as they call it "wander" around. Example- one of the biggest attractions in Austria, Schönbrunn Palace, we were given 45 minutes to "explore". I was the only person of 45 who got inside. It took me running to the ticket kiosk, paying 20 euros btw, for the quickest 20 minute walk through option (most are 90 minutes to 3 hours), running to bag check, asking security to cut through lines and forgo audio guide, run up the stairs, get through the area with a "look and scan" in 15 minutes, ask people to cut to the front of the bag check line so my bus didn't leave me, and run back to the bus. Then they took that bus 15 minutes away to the city, dropped us off and said you have the day to "explore". WTH? Seriously? You couldn't have left and came back 3 hours later so people could have actually visited the place? Everyone looked around for an hour and went back to the hotel at 2 in the afternoon. This same scenario happened in Prague and Budapest. Soooo just know in advance you will be done by lunch and make plans accordingly.Show more
