  The optional first meal at vineyard was a little pricey but the food was good there was free flowing house made wine that was good Nd the dancing party atmosphere was fun worth the expense. The be my guest dinner at another family owned vineyard was great. The food was delicious and again plenty of wine. The experience shopping and cooking with the chef near Florence was amazing. They had us make ravioli, salad and an appetizer. The wine tasting was delicious and they had unique sparkling wines. Luckily we did do all the cooking. The food was fantastic and the assortment was amazing. The best part of the trip were the people and these events. The scenery was beautiful, the cities and town architecture was great. Plenty of time on the bus but this trips offers a chance to stay behind if you like. The weather was hot and sunny I wish I booked in Sept to November but really enjoyed the trip. I was disappointed that the hotel didn't have a pool.Show more

  Fabio was an excellent tour guide. He emailed us prior to arrival to let us know about a change of schedule which was much appreciated. He was very well versed on history and customs and knew the cities well, giving us a complete picture of past and present life in Italy. The tour guides in each city were also informative and engaging. Fabio's fun personality made the trip enjoyable for us and our 3 children, all in their 20s.Show more
