- Day 2
Hobart
Head out to Port Arthur, a World Heritage site known for its convict history. A guide will take you through the grounds, and you'll also get a cruise past the Isle of the Dead to learn about the people who lived here, including both convicts and free settlers who made this place home.

Hobart to Freycinet National Park
You'll leave Hobart early and drive toward Freycinet National Park. On the way, stop in Richmond to check out the historic Richmond Bridge, built by convicts back in 1825 and still standing as Australia's oldest stone arch bridge. Later, you'll visit the Tasmanian Wool Centre in Ross to see exhibits about convict labour and the wool industry. By evening, you'll reach your secluded lodge overlooking Great Oyster Bay, where you can enjoy a glass of Tasmanian Sparkling while watching the sun go down.

- Day 4
Freycinet National Park
This day focuses on Freycinet National Park itself. You'll take a cruise on Wineglass Bay to see the white sandy beaches and clear blue water up close. From Cape Tourville afterward, the coastal views are really something, with steep cliffs and rocky formations along the shoreline.

- Day 5
Freycinet National Park to Launceston
Starting from the coast, you'll head inland through Legerwood and stop at Pyengana Dairy Company, an award-winning cheese producer where you can taste their products. Further along, you'll see an unusual World War I memorial with 25 trees carved into soldier sculptures planted back in 1918. After that, you'll continue to Launceston and check into your hotel, which is housed in a converted heritage grain silo building.

Launceston
Cataract Gorge is on the agenda, a natural area along the South Esk River with a chairlift ride that gives you views of the rugged landscape right near town.
