  Could you please provide more details on how the paths will look like? Additionally, could you clarify whether the travelers will be driven uphill and then ride downhill, or if they'll be biking both up and down on their own?

    All of our cycling routes are carefully selected and lead along rural roads with very little traffic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable cycling experience. At a few points along the route, we do cycle through small towns and villages, where there is naturally some local car traffic. The final stage along the coast is almost entirely on dedicated cycle paths, with the only exception being the last few miles leading to the ship along the Douro riverbank. In the Douro Valley, we always begin with a transfer, as the terrain there is very steep and would be quite challenging even with an e-bike. For this reason, we start at a higher elevation and enjoy significantly more downhill cycling than uphill. This allows us to offer truly beautiful and spectacular panoramic routes throughout the journey.
    
    Day 2: 27 km (16.8 miles) / 330 m (1,080 ft) ascent / 860 m (2,820 ft) descent
    
    Day 3: 24 km (14.9 miles) / 290 m (950 ft) ascent / 780 m (2,560 ft) descent
    
    Day 4: 62 km (38.5 miles) / 570 m (1,870 ft) ascent / 1,170 m (3,840 ft) descent
    
    Day 5: 23 km (14.3 miles) / 200 m (660 ft) ascent / 640 m (2,100 ft) descent
    
    Day 6: 20 km (12.4 miles) / 180 m (590 ft) ascent / 710 m (2,330 ft) descent
    
    Day 7: 41.5 km (25.8 miles) / 160 m (525 ft) ascent / 160 m (525 ft) descent

  Do you ever offer Cabin F accommodations on these tours? I would prefer to book a larger room and dates are flexible.

    Just let us know when you are ready to book a departure and we will request a F cabin. The Douro boat and bike trips are very popular so I recommend not waiting too long.

  We would like more information on the e-bikes, make, model, age, quality and most specifically are they step-through or high bar? A picture of the bikes would be helpful. Are they part of the tour cost or do we have to rent them in addition? Are helmets provided? Are the roads paved or gravel?

The ebikes are included in this trip and you can rent helmets. Please note that the October 8 departure is fully booked already. I think the week before, October 1 might still be possible if you are interested?

  I would like to book a Duoro cruise, but only if we can book a room with a balcony (Cabin F). Can you advise if these rooms are available, or fully booked? We would look at either of the October dates...

    We are still very interested in doing the e-bike tour but need to know if the boat will cater for us being coeliac... my husband and I must eat gluten free. I get very sick if I eat gluten.
