    Is this tour available on road bikes. We are a group of friends who travel often together and are looking for a guided tour(English) next fall in Germany. We like this itinerary but are not ready for e-bikes yet and were hoping to be able to do on regular road bikes.

      The landscape is really amazing with Bavarian/Austrian Alpes around you, mountain lakes and a lot of cosy villages and historical towns. But it is very hilly! If you are really fit you might be able to do it with a road bike but we strongly recommand this trip with E-Bikes! But if you have already a group of 8 persons for this date and you are all willing to do it without electric support then I would recommand to book this date as an exclusive date just for your group of 8! We cannot mix for this tour road bikes with E-Bikes because the E-biker would have to wait all the time for the road biker and because of that we will probably arrive every day quite late in our hotels.

      Do you have elevation charts or do you know the average daily elevation gains? We are pretty experienced cyclists, but this is a vacation, so not knowing the elevation I am not sure if it is more than we want to test ourselves.
