Hanover to Minden
There's an optional guided bus tour through Hanover's New Town Hall, Market Church, half-timbered Old Town, and the baroque Herrenhausen Palace Gardens if you want to join. In the afternoon, the ship cruises to Minden where you'll stay overnight in port.

Osnabrück
The ship heads to Osnabrück early in the day. You can take an optional guided tour of the Marktplatz, Saint Mary's Church, Saint Peter's Cathedral, and the Gothic city hall, or spend time browsing Old Town boutiques on your own. Dinner happens back on the ship, and you'll stay overnight in port.

Münster to Datteln
Cruise to Münster, Westphalia's historic capital. An optional guided tour covers St.-Paulus-Dom Cathedral with its 14th-century biblical sculptures, the medieval Old Town with arcades, and Prinzipalmarkt lined with roughly 50 gabled houses plus the Salzstrasse. After dinner on board, the ship cruises to Datteln for an overnight stay.

The Ruhr Region to Düsseldorf
You'll arrive in Herne-Ost early morning. An optional excursion takes you to the Ruhr region and the German Mining Museum in Bochum, where you can descend underground mine shafts stretching over 1.5 miles at 65 feet below ground. The ship then cruises to Düsseldorf, arriving after nightfall.

Düsseldorf to Cologne
Join an optional walking tour of Düsseldorf covering Königsallee's upscale shops, the Altstadt with its well-known bars, and the Rheinuferpromenade Riverwalk, or explore independently during free time before heading back to the ship. Later that afternoon, cruise to Cologne. The evening is a festive gala celebration on board.
