We would like to walk among penguins. Our two top reasons for visiting Patagonia: ice and penguins. Do we have to reserve flights within Brazil (seems to be an issues, sometimes). Or just pay extra

      TravelerWritten December 2025

Do we walk among the origins during the tour or just watch from afar?

    • ColletteOperatorWritten December 2025

Whenever the itinerary mentions a panoramic view of something or a walking tour, it is usually just a surface or observation type of attraction. When the itinerary states that something is a visit or we see the inside of something, it will be an included immersive attraction.

    • ColletteOperatorWritten December 2025

During our Patagonia tour program, the views of the Magellan penguins mentioned on Day 11 are from the Zodiac boat. Travelers will not have the opportunity to step onto shore where the penguins are. There are strict rules and policies that must be followed regarding this habitat.
