I'm planning a trip from Montreal to both Tokyo and Seoul. I'm interested in your 'Highlights of Japan' package, but I'd like to do a shorter version, about 5 to 6 days in Japan, and spend the remaining days in Seoul. Could you help customize the itinerary accordingly?

Do you know how many people are booked on this tour

The number of people booked on the tour can vary daily. You can expect small groups for our walking tours and food experiences, typically with up to 10 participants. For tours that use a bus to other cities, like the Mount Fuji tour from Tokyo, we have a capacity of 40 people, although we generally see around 25 participants. Keep in mind that these numbers can change based on the season and specific day.

Is there a breakfast included for each hotel or not?

We can certainly arrange for breakfast to be included at each hotel for your trip. Please be aware that this may slightly increase the overall cost of your booking.

What mode of transfer (car, train etc) would be arranged on day 11 (departure) from Kyoto to Kansai airport? And what would be the cost of that?

At the time of check out you are able to choose if you would like to include a private transfer from your hotel in Kyoto to KIX or a shared airport transfer, which is a bus that will pick you up from Kyoto Station and drop you off at the airport. The private transfers costs €300.00 per group. The shared transfer costs €30.00 per person.

  Its a fully guided tour but you have free days in the itinerary and also free time in the nights. You can expect small groups in our walking tours and our food experiences - up to 10 people. For our tours that depart with a bus to other cities (example: Mount Fuji from Tokyo) we have the capacity of a bus -40 people- but in general we have 25.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 35% is required to confirm your booking with Tourist Journey. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Tourist Journey will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
