Travellers need to confirm all the details as advertised. Although stated that tips and entrance tickets are included, many are not. Tips vary from tour guides, drivers, not from the company and all the entrance tickets are charged. The optional tours are not cheap too. All these add up!

Our two guides were exceptional. They had deep knowledge of their areas and they helped keep us engaged. The very early morning starts to our day were disruptive and inconvenient. It seemed that we were constantly competing with thousands of other visitors to access many sites. And the incessant sales pitches by the hoards of merchants at every site quickly became a dreaded part of our visits. The 3 hour drive to the Red Sea resort was a white knuckled experience with a driver who constantly drove at 160 Km per hour in a 100 Km zone. The resort we stayed at was at best a 2 Star experience & while they proclaimed they were all inclusive the myriad of extra charges for food, drinks etc. was an embarrassment to my guests. The tour agent's representative in Cairo tried unsuccessfully to sell us a host of additional excursions as well as numerous pre-paid overpriced admission tickets. The cruise ship had a very poor selection of food and was in very poor shape, plugged shower drains, safes that malfunctioned, at best I rate it at a 1 or 2. Would I recommend this tour operator - no. Would I recommend a visit to Egypt - yes, under different conditions.

Medhat was our guide from Aswan airport then all the way through to Luxor. He was able to share facts and intricacies that I’m sure many guides may not include. At the beginning of each day Medhat made sure we were prepared for our day of activities and then towards the end of each day he made sure we knew what the following days plans were. Most things went smoothly with this TourRadar holiday although when including the cost of daily excursions and tips the original tour price more than doubles. When arriving in Cairo and meeting with the tour representative Mohamed we were offered and encourage to go on extra excursions. For this we were most grateful however the back to back days of excursions with wake up times of between 3:00am and 4:30am made for very long days especially when the evening meal service started at 8:00pm. At no stage did Mohamed suggest we should cut back on our extras as we wouldn’t have much time to relax, enjoy a lazy day on the river cruise or sleep. I feel it was more about milking the customer than offering an overall pleasant relaxing experience. Our travel plans aren’t cookie cutter style. We made our own way to Egypt on last minute flights. We informed Randa of this and requested hotel information which was not provided. We arrived 2 days prior to the tour commencement and made our way to the Ramses Hilton. We enquired as to the cost of transfer from the Ramses Hilton to the unnamed meeting point hotel and were quoted $35USD. After we finally received meeting hotel details we caught an Uber for EGP221.22 (US$4.64) We had intentions of meeting with a friend and spending a few extra days in Hurghada but after requesting hotel name details we were provided with no information regarding the hotel name. We were only offered the opportunity for this tour organisation to book extra days on our behalf. This didn’t suit us so the extra days to be spent with our friend fell through. Overall we’ve enjoyed our time however more transparent communication with the local Egyptian team would certainly make for a much more positive experience

Absolutely! Here's a glowing review for Medhat: --- I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a four-day river cruise from Aswan to Luxor, and I can confidently say that Medhat, our tour guide, made this journey truly unforgettable. From the moment he met us at Aswan Airport it was clear that we were in exceptional hands. Medhat's caring and attentive nature stood out. He took the time to ensure that every member of our group felt comfortable and engaged, always checking in to see if we had any questions or needed assistance. His warm personality created a welcoming environment that made our adventure even more enjoyable. What truly sets Medhat apart is his outstanding knowledge of the historical sites we visited, including the magnificent temples and the awe-inspiring Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. He shared fascinating stories and insights that brought these ancient wonders to life. His passion for Egyptology was evident, and his ability to convey complex historical details in an engaging way made our tours both educational and entertaining.

We had a fantastic time exploring the Pyramids, tombs and temples of all the famous Kings and Queens of Egypt. Nourbelle Tours put together quite the adventure running through one of the most ancient civilizations in the world from Ancient Egyptians, Romans, Coptics and the Ottoman Empire. The region has so much history to explore. Our guide Islam has a degree in Archeology and was extremely knowledgeable about each period of history. And if the history part isn’t for you then one can simply lounge on the nile cruise boat.

The best part of our tour was the amazing tour guides we had. Both Abdoul in Cairo and Ashraf on the Nile Cruise were amazing. Their knowledge, passion for their history and culture brought Egypt alive for me. There was so much to see but things were organized so I felt that we saw the most important highlights and more.

I really enjoyed this trip! It offered the perfect balance between culture, history, and relaxation. The guides were knowledgeable, and overall, everything went very smoothly. That said, there are a couple of areas for improvement. First, it would be great to receive the full itinerary upfront, including all details about hotels, flights, and the cruise ship. Second, while the guides were very informative, they could focus more on the highlights—especially in the museums. I felt a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information, and my teenage son quickly lost interest. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and a well-organized trip that I would recommend to others.

Tour cost per person in a private single room is 1058 USD. So if you want to book 3 single rooms the cost will be 3174 USD. The tour cost per person in a double room is 833 USD. SO if you want to book 1 double room + 1 single room the cost will be = 2724 USD.
