Bangkok
You'll land at Bangkok International Airport and head to your hotel to check in and get settled. Once you've had time to freshen up, a private night tour kicks off this evening for about 4 hours. You'll walk through Chinatown and hit up the popular night markets, where there's plenty of street food to try and local goods to browse.

Bangkok
This is a full day of market hopping. You start at Maeklong Railway Market where a tourist train actually passes right through the stalls, and you can shop for fresh seafood and tropical fruit. Later you'll take a boat through Amphawa Floating Market, trying local food and checking out the canalside setting. When evening arrives, a one-hour firefly boat ride lets you watch hundreds of fireflies light up the river.

Bangkok to Chiang Mai
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head to Suvarnabhumi Airport for a domestic flight to Chiang Mai. Once you land, a driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After you've settled in, a guided temple tour takes you through Chiang Mai's important Buddhist temples like Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Chiang Man. These temples show off preserved Thai culture and northern Thai architecture.

Chiang Mai
Today you head to Doi Suthep Temple, which sits at the top of a 5,300-foot (1,615 meter) peak. The 600-year-old Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep is one of Chiang Mai's most important Buddhist temples and a pilgrimage site, with lots of spots for photos. You'll have free time in the afternoon to explore and wander around on your own.

Chiang Mai
