    2.0 - Rather poor

I have just returned from the Food Adventure in Vietnam and have never had a worse holiday in my life. We were packed into little coaster buses for 4 hour trips, we had to walk for long distances and the train was horrific, no one got a minute of sleep, apart from maybe the bed bugs. Our 'guide' was in the habit of leaving us in the middle of the street with instructions of "just go up there and turn left and you should be at the hotel". The only thing in he did right was take two people to hospital but even then he left them there to give him a call and he sent a bus to pick us up. We were told over and over how the "American war" was fought (I thought this was a war between the South and the North?) Altogether it was a hot dirty and unpleasant experience with spots of fun and beauty in between. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Questions & Answers

Here we have collected and answered the most frequently asked questions about this tour.

  • December 1, 2016

Do you offer solo tours rather than group tours?

We do not offer solo tours but we do however have a lot of Independent tours. A self-guided adventure allows independent travellers to travel along without a guide. The tour guide essentially acts as a concierge to ensure you have the necessities - accommodation, transportation, and some pre-booked activities. Most travellers who book this option are budget backpackers, but you can choose from different standards of accommodation.
