You'll arrive at El Calafate airport and catch a shuttle or bus to El Chaltén, timing depends on when your flight lands. After checking into your accommodation, the rest of the day is yours to explore at whatever pace feels right. There are hiking trails nearby if you want to get out and stretch your legs, or you can take it easy and get settled in.

El Chaltén
This is a free day for hiking on your own schedule. The Laguna de los Tres trail is a solid option if you're up for it, running about 8-9 hours for the round trip. You'll need to bring your own food and snacks, though you can refill your water bottle from streams along the way. Start early if you go this route.

El Chaltén
Another open day where you choose your own adventure. The Laguna Torre trail is worth considering, taking roughly 7-8 hours round trip. This gives you a chance to see different terrain and views from what you might have done the day before, or you can repeat a favorite trail if you prefer.

El Chaltén to El Calafate
Check out of your accommodation and head to the bus station for your ride back to El Calafate. You can catch the 8 am bus if you want an early start, or take the 6 pm option if you'd rather have more time in the morning. That wraps up the tour services.
