  Tai Ngo was the best tour guide I could've hoped for. Showed me all the great places in Hanoi, and the itinerary wasn't set in stone, so there was no pressure or rush, just a great time. Tai was able to answer all my questions and showed me the best spots to eat, and the Vietnamese coffee is awesome! Halong Bay is incredible, and even though the weather didn't cooperate most of the time, the trip was still fantastic and well worth it. I highly recommend Tai Ngo and Up Travel to make your Vietnam holiday the best it can be. I really needed help with the language and navigation in the old city, and I was made to feel very comfortable with Tai's help. You won't be disappointed, a guaranteed great time!Show more

  We upgraded our hotel but was not informed of vehicular restrictions with new hotel which meant on 2 mornings we did not have tour hotel pickup as advertised. Had to do 10 min walk in rain to meeting/pickup point- would not have minded if advance notice at time of booking. However quality of tours were goof especially the Halong Bay.Show more

  This was a fantastic trip, start to finish! Hannah did a great job communicating at every turn and all the different guides were great. We had an amazing time on the Ha Long Bay portion where Ha was our guide on the boat. He was super! So much fun! Ha really made sure that everyone had a good time and we did so many wonderful activities. We LOVED the boat and cruise. And we were very surprised that ALL the food on this trip was just delicious! Tons of variety and the fruit was incredible. We really enjoyed doing Tai Chi with the man (can't remember his name) at sunrise. All in All it was just an awesome tour - we loved Vietnam!Show more

Each day was thoughtfully organized, and every guide was responsible and attentive. Son and Dem were the kind of guides you hope to meet: genuinely proud of what they do, knowledgeable, and able to share stories they’ve told many times before with the same passion and enthusiasm.
