    You'll leave Torres del Paine this morning and drive into Argentina toward El Calafate. The town gets its name from a local blue berry, and there's a legend that eating one means you'll return to Patagonia someday. It serves as the entry point to Los Glaciares National Park, which has massive glacier fields and colorful glacial lakes surrounded by mountains. You'll stay here for three nights.

    El Calafate

    Los Glaciares became a World Heritage site back in 1937, and today you'll cruise Lake Argentino to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. The glacier's face rises about 74 metres above the water, and chunks of ice regularly break off and crash into the lake with loud sounds. You'll also walk along a boardwalk that gives you views looking out over the top of this 250 square kilometre glacier.
