Santiago
You'll arrive in Santiago and get transferred to your hotel in Chile's capital. The city sits right at the base of the Andes, and you'll have time to settle in before your evening. Santiago to Torres del Paine National Park
After flying south, you'll reach your hotel at Torres del Paine National Park entrance. This four-night stay comes with a special package that includes meals, drinks, and excursions each day. Torres del Paine National Park
Today marks the start of exploring Torres del Paine, one of Patagonia's most notable national parks. Torres del Paine to El Calafate, Argentina
You'll leave Torres del Paine this morning and drive into Argentina toward El Calafate. The town gets its name from a local blue berry, and there's a legend that eating one means you'll return to Patagonia someday. It serves as the entry point to Los Glaciares National Park, which has massive glacier fields and colorful glacial lakes surrounded by mountains. You'll stay here for three nights.

Landmarks Los Glaciares National Park 
- Day 7
El Calafate
Los Glaciares became a World Heritage site back in 1937, and today you'll cruise Lake Argentino to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. The glacier's face rises about 74 metres above the water, and chunks of ice regularly break off and crash into the lake with loud sounds. You'll also walk along a boardwalk that gives you views looking out over the top of this 250 square kilometre glacier.

El Calafate
You'll experience ranch life on an estancia in the Argentine countryside surrounded by glaciers and mountains. This gives you a real sense of how people live in Patagonia and the frontier culture that still exists in these large properties. You can learn about the gaucho history and ride horses through the landscape, then join everyone for a farewell dinner this evening.

El Calafate to Ushuaia
After saying goodbye to your group, you'll head to the airport and fly to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world on Tierra del Fuego. The crew welcomes you aboard the Scenic Eclipse, an ultra-luxury yacht. As you depart, you'll cruise through the Beagle Channel, the same waterway Charles Darwin traveled through years ago on his own voyage of discovery.

As you enter Antarctic waters, put on your polar parka and head to the Observation Deck to spot icebergs for the first time. The environment here is unpredictable but visually striking. Watch for whales in the distance and chat with the Polar Discovery Team, which includes geologists, historians, ornithologists, marine biologists, and glaciologists who can answer your questions.

Antarctica
Open your suite doors to see icebergs and glacial mountains rising from the ocean. The wildlife here is incredible: leopard seals, Weddell seals, baleen whales, orcas, and penguin colonies. Antarctica also has over 40 bird species, including wandering albatrosses with the largest wingspans of any flying bird. Daily excursions include Zodiac cruises, island visits for penguin and seal viewing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding.

You might visit Portal Point, a former British shelter where you can hike to the hut and look back toward the ship across the ice-covered ocean. Another option is Deception Island in the South Shetland Islands, where the yacht sails into the center of a submerged volcano crater. The island has scientific stations and hundreds of thousands of chinstrap penguins. Tonight, try the sushi restaurant, stay up late at the bar, or relax in the library.

You might also see minke whales, humpback whales, or orcas from the yacht, a Zodiac, or while kayaking.

Lemaire Channel, called 'Kodak Alley,' is incredibly photogenic. If the yacht passes through this 11-kilometre channel during your voyage, set your alarm. The channel narrows to just 700 metres at its tightest point, and you'll see dramatic rocky mountains and bright blue icebergs very close to the ship. Between excursions, grab specialty tea or coffee in the Observation Lounge and look through Swarovski telescopes.
