Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll arrive in Kathmandu and head straight to your hotel in Thamel, where you'll settle in for the night. This is a good time to rest and acclimate after your journey.

Kathmandu

Kathmandu to Illam
You'll fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, then drive to Illam for an overnight stay. The flight is short, and the drive from there takes a few hours through changing terrain.

Illam to Taplejung
After breakfast, you're in for a long drive to Taplejung at 1820m elevation. The local bus or jeep ride takes about 9 hours, so settle in and enjoy the mountain scenery along the way.

Taplejung to Sekathum
Early morning means an early start from Taplejung heading to Sekathum at 1640m. The local jeep drive takes around 5 hours on rough roads, bringing you closer to the trekking regions.

Sekathum to Amjilosa
After breakfast, you'll start hiking from Sekathum to Amjilosa. This gradual up and down hike takes 5 to 6 hours, so pace yourself and enjoy the local vegetation and mountain views.

Bhadrapur to Kathmandu

Departure from Kathmandu
