Itinerary
- Day 1
Mexico City
You'll arrive at Mexico City airport where your local guide meets you for the drive to your hotel. After checking in, you can settle in and get your bearings for the first night in this bustling city.



- Day 2
Mexico City
Start with a city tour hitting major spots like Paseo de la Reforma, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Torre Latinoamericana, and the Zócalo with its government palace and cathedral. Later you'll head south to Coyoacán where quiet streets and small squares offer cafes and local character. You'll pass the Aztec stadium on your way, then wrap up the day with a peaceful boat ride through the colorful trajineras at Xochimilco.

- Day 3
Mexico City
This day is yours to wander around Mexico City and the surrounding area however you like. If you want, there's an optional trip to Teotihuacán to see the ancient pyramids and the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, but it's completely up to you.

Mexico City to Mérida
After breakfast, you'll head to Mexico City airport for a domestic flight to Mérida in Yucatán state. Once you land and transfer to your hotel, the rest of the afternoon and evening are open for you to explore the 'white city' on your own.

Landmarks Mérida - Day 5
Celestún
Join the Yucatán round trip starting with Mérida's highlights: the Zócalo, cathedral, and the tree-lined Paseo de Montejo with its impressive villas. You'll browse local crafts at a traditional market, then drive to Celestún on the Gulf where you'll take a boat across the lagoon looking for pink flamingos.

Uxmal - Campeche
Starting after breakfast, you'll drive to Hacienda Yaxcopoil to check out the museum and learn about the region's history. From there, head to Uxmal, one of the most significant Mayan sites, where you'll see the Pyramid of the Magician, Nuns' Quadrangle, Ball Court, and Governor's Palace. You'll stop at a Yucatecan village along the way, then continue on to Campeche, a quiet harbor town on the Gulf.

Campeche to Palenque
Walk through Campeche's beautifully preserved old town, a colonial-era port and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring, you'll head on to Palenque where a jungle hike introduces you to local plants and animals as you make your way through the landscape.

Landmarks Campeche Palenque - Day 8
Agua Azul/Misol Há
Spend time at Palenque, a ceremonial site tucked within tall jungle trees, and see the famous Temple of Inscriptions and the Palacio with its four-story tower that may have been used as an observatory. In the afternoon, drive to either Agua Azul or Misol Há waterfalls in the Chiapas mountains, then have dinner at a local restaurant.

Becán - Chetumal
Visit Chicannà, a Mayan site featuring Rio Bec style architecture with an impressive temple district and elaborate facade decorations including the temple no. 2 with its striking monster mask. Then drive into the jungle near the Belize border to explore Becán, a unique archaeological zone surrounded by a moat. You'll arrive in Chetumal in the afternoon.

Tulum - Cancún
Head to Bacalar lagoon where you'll see a range of beautiful blue shades in the water. From there, continue to Tulum to see the spectacular Mayan ruins sitting right on the Caribbean coast. Then travel toward Cancún for your transfer to your hotel on the Riviera Maya, which could be Playa del Carmen, Cancún, or one of the Caribbean islands. The round trip finishes around 5 pm.
