- Day 1
High Atlas Mountains to Ait Ben Haddou to Agdz
Your pickup starts at 8:00 AM for a drive across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the dramatic Tichka Pass. There's an optional stop at an Argan Oil cooperative if you want to see how they process the oil using traditional methods. After that, you'll check out the historic Kasbah Telouet before heading to Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village you might recognize from films. Lunch happens overlooking the kasbah, then you'll drive south through Agdz with its palm groves, arriving by late afternoon at 75°F/24°C.

- Day 2
Draa Valley to Tamegroute to Erg Lihoudi
After breakfast, you'll see Kasbah Tamnougalt in Agdz, then head into the Draa Valley lined with date palms and red-earth villages. There's a stop at a small enclosed palm garden for drinks and a break. Later you'll reach Zagora for lunch, then explore the 17th-century village of Tamegroute where the kasbah sits partially underground and local pottery features a distinctive green glaze. In the late afternoon, a one-hour camel trek takes you into the Erg Lihoudi dunes, followed by dinner and live Saharan music around a campfire under the stars.

Erg Lihoudi to M'hamid to Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, you'll leave the camp by camel for a short 4x4 drive to M'hamid, the final town with paved roads. The Kasbah Museum of Ouled Driss sits in a palm grove and covers local culture and history. Lunch happens in M'hamid with an option to cool off at the pool. Then comes a 60 km off-road drive across the lunar Desert Piste to reach Erg Chigaga with its towering dunes. You can climb the dunes or try sandboarding before settling in for dinner, a campfire, and live drumming by evening.

- Day 4
Erg Chigaga to Foum Zguid
You have the choice to wake early and watch sunrise from the dunes or spend time sandboarding informally. A 4-hour camel trek follows, taking you around the expansive dune sets to see the desert's scale. Your camel guide brings lunch during the trek or you'll eat back at camp. By afternoon, a 4x4 takes you out of the Sahara on a different route over sandy plains and stony piste, passing part of the old Dakar Rally Desert path and the dry lake of Iriqui. You'll reach Foum Zguid in the late afternoon or early evening with time to relax and use the pool.

Foum Zguid to Marrakech
After breakfast, your journey back toward modern life begins with a drive through Tazenakht, known for Berber carpet making. A brazier mountain lunch happens in the High Atlas Mountains with surrounding scenery and photo stops as you wish. From there, you'll head back to your accommodation in Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
