- Day 1
Stockholm
You'll arrive in Stockholm and get settled into your central accommodation. This evening includes a group dinner featuring Swedish food and cinnamon buns for dessert. Afterward, you can wander the cobbled streets of Gamla Stan where lanterns light up the colorful buildings, or grab a local beer by the water and watch the city lights reflect across the 14 islands.

- Day 2
Stockholm
Your Trip Leader leads a walking tour through Stockholm, showing you the pastel houses in Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace guard change, and taking a fika break for coffee and a cinnamon bun. After lunch, you'll have free time to explore on your own—head to Djurgarden for parks and museums, or check out Sodermalm for thrift shops and rooftop bars. By evening, you'll board an overnight train to Lulea with comfortable sleeping cabins, arriving in a new city by morning.

- Day 3
Luleå
You'll arrive in Lulea around midday and take time to recover from the train. Your Trip Leader guides a walking tour showing you frosted shorelines and frozen harbors in this snow-globe-like city. This afternoon, you choose your adventure: either put on snowshoes and walk through icy forests, or try a snow scooter ride after dark while hunting for the Northern Lights.

Landmarks Luleå - Day 4
Gammelstad
Your Trip Leader takes you to Gammelstad, a UNESCO World Heritage site with cobbled lanes, red wooden cottages and a medieval stone church. In the afternoon, you can optionally join an icebreaker cruise where you'll drift through ice sheets and swim in a survival suit. After dark, head out with your Trip Leader to chase the Northern Lights and hopefully catch that green glow across the sky.

Landmarks Gammelstad - Day 5
Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi
You'll meet with local Sami people to learn about Sweden's Indigenous culture and have a traditional snack. Then it's off to Santa's Village in Rovaniemi with candy-cane streets and twinkling lights. You can optionally meet Santa and explore the shops, have hot chocolate, and settle into your glass-roof igloo for the night where you might see the Northern Lights from bed.

Landmarks Santa Claus Village - Day 6
Ranua Arctic Wildlife Park
Check out of your igloo and head to Ranua Arctic Wildlife Park to see Arctic animals, or optionally visit a reindeer farm surrounded by snowy forests. Later in the evening, if conditions allow, you'll get another chance to see the Northern Lights since one showing is never quite enough.

Landmarks Ranua Arctic Wildlife Park - Day 7
Oulu
You'll explore Oulu's winter activities with an optional snowmobile ride across snowy trails. This evening, you can optionally enjoy a Nordic feast and relax in a traditional sauna. If the Northern Lights haven't shown up yet, tonight's your last real chance to see those green and pink ribbons dancing across the Arctic sky.

Landmarks Oulu - Day 8
Helsinki
Catch the morning train south to Helsinki, Finland's capital. Your Trip Leader will walk you past the striking Helsinki Cathedral, the grand Uspenski Cathedral, through Esplanadi Park and along the harbourfront, pointing out neoclassical buildings and lively cafes. Tonight features a farewell dinner with Finnish specialties where you'll share Northern Lights photos and favorite moments from the trip.

Departure
You'll gather for a final breakfast to compare Santa photos, snowmobile stories and count how many cinnamon buns everyone managed to eat. Then it's time to head home with a suitcase full of memories and maybe a few Arctic souvenirs from your adventure.
