The hike to the summit of Mt. Nemrut is considered moderate. It does not require technical climbing, but it involves a steady uphill walk. Recommended Tips for the Traveller Footwear: Wear sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes or sneakers with good traction. Layers: Even during summer, temperatures at the peak drop significantly at sunrise and sunset, and winds can be strong. A warm jacket or windbreaker is essential. We don't have any bookings yet for 20th June 2027 but the maximum number of people is 12. The tour departs from Cappadocia so you can fly into Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport a day before or a few days before if you'd like to spend time in Cappadocia. Or we can book the flight and accommodation in Cappadocia with the 5-Day Gobeklitepe and Mt Nemrut Tour with an additional cost.

Can this tour be taken around either December 20 or January 5?

I've been hearing now that visiting Mt. Nemrut & Gobeklitepe in December is not possible due to weather. is that true with you?

We are in Cappadocia from 22nd May. We do not want to return to Istanbul but visit Antakya museum hotel for Mosiac n return to Gaziantep the same day. Planning a flight from Gaziantep on 30th May.

Emre our guide and Mustafa our driver were excellent. We loved the itinerary and thoroughly enjoyed and learned a great deal of the places we visited, even when it was 41"C. The tour is promoted as a 5-day tour, but it is really a 4-day tour with breakfast only on the 5th day. The White Star hotel in Adiyaman was very good. The accommodation in Sanliurfa located in the old city was not great. The setting was nice, but the plumbing in the room we had a sewage odour which was just horrible. Others in the group were also not happy with their rooms. The food was very repetitive and a number of us were unwell gastro on the day of leaving following dinner at the hotel the evening prior.Show more

  The weather gets harsh in winter therefore the last departure date we have is 7th December and sometimes we even may have to cancel it a few weeks before. The first departure in 2026 is on 15th March.
