Itinerary
- Day 1
Salvador
You'll arrive in Salvador, one of Brazil's oldest and most vibrant cities. Check-in opens at 15:00, so you have time to settle into your accommodation. Spend your first evening at a relaxed pace, walking around and getting a feel for the local culture and atmosphere.

- Day 2
Salvador
After breakfast, you're heading out on a four-hour guided historical tour of Salvador. The tour starts at Fort Santo António da Barra and the Farol da Barra lighthouse, then moves into the Historic Center and Pelourinho, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll see beautiful churches, museums, and the Jorge Amado Foundation, plus get views from the Lacerda elevator overlooking the Bay of All Saints. The afternoon is yours to wander around at your own pace.

Salvador to Igatu
After breakfast, a private transfer takes you to the village of Igatu. This place has unique architecture made entirely from rock blocks that came from the region, a leftover from its diamond mining days. You'll settle in for the night there.

Igatu to Mucugê
You're traveling from Igatu to Ibicoara to see Buracão Waterfall, one of Chapada Diamantina's most notable cascades. The walk is 6km total, starting flat along Rio Espalhado where you'll see Cachoeira das Orquídeas before dropping into the canyon. You can swim through the waterfall with a life jacket or climb through rocks, then hike back up for more views. A picnic lunch happens on the trail, and then you head to Mucugê for the night.

Mucugê to Lençóis
This morning you're driving to Poço Encantado, a large natural cave with turquoise water inside a limestone cavern and a dramatic 60-meter sunlight shaft hitting the bottom. After that, you head to Poço Azul where you float inside the cave. Lunch features typical local foods, and you'll reach Lençóis in the late afternoon to stay overnight.

Lençóis
You're driving from Lençóis toward Iraquara to visit Gruta da Pratinha for swimming in clear waters of the Pratinha River and checking out Gruta Azul. Snorkeling inside the cave is included, and zip-lining is available if you want it. Lunch of typical local foods comes in the afternoon, then you head to Gruta da Lapa Doce. A local guide takes you through this cave system to see stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient rock formations millions of years old. You'll catch impressive views from Pai Inácio Hill before heading back to Lençóis in the late afternoon.
