  In Paris, distances between the three hotels where guests were put up were too long. We wasted time and opportunities by being in taxis or on the bus getting from one hotel to another an hour or more before group was together. Tours and Marseilles were a disappointment.Show more

Our groups do not always stay in the same hotels due to availability; however, everything is coordinated by our team and guides to ensure departures run as smoothly as possible. Guides always assign pick-up times at each hotel where they need to stop, and on some occasions, the same guides offer passengers who wish to return earlier the option to arrange a taxi for a faster transfer. This is sometimes suggested as a way to provide quick alternatives to passengers, always with the goal of helping. The hotels are usually not far apart, but traffic can sometimes be a factor that delays arrivals and, consequently, increases the time spent on the buses. We regret that this experience was tiring and unpleasant for you, but as mentioned, our team always does their best to ensure the organization runs as smoothly as possible.   It' was a BIG disappointment. I went ahead to book 2 tours with Europ despite all the bad reviews thinking that were due to Covid, and service hadn't returned to pre-Covid level. Sadly, the bad reviews were correct - no English commentaries except for one hour with local guide in Paris. More like a transfer service being updated with logistics and time schedules only. Travelled long hours to reach beautiful Marseilles but no time to see the place - arrived at 8pm and left at 7.45am next morning! Bad timing! Waste of travelling time! Felt sorry for our guide Fleur who was lovely but lacking the experience, not her fault at all. The tour operator should have arranged a better tour with better time schedules!!Show more

  The trip was very ambitious and I should have realized that there would not be time to see some of the sights as listed. A couple places only allowed time to eat and sleep while they were worth staying longer. Our pickup was initially forgotten but you did arrange our drop off at the end of the tour so kudos for solving that issue. We did have language issues as some days the guide did not speak English - this was particularly important when bus transfers occurred during the day at places we were visiting - our short visit time was wasted moving luggage. It could have been more efficient to tell us before exiting the bus so we could do it before racing off to see the sites. Overall, we enjoyed the trip. DebShow more

Regarding the itinerary, we understand that sometimes the journeys can be lengthy, that’s why we indicate the approximate distances we will cover each day, and when combined with external factors such as traffic, it can occasionally make the trip feel even longer. Nevertheless, we are glad to know that you enjoyed the places you visited. Regarding the language, I must explain that our tours are often bilingual as we may have passengers from different groups sharing the same bus. This can be quite an enriching experience, and depending on the composition of each group, one language may seem to predominate over the other. However, I can confirm that the information provided by the guides is the same in both languages, although passenger participation may vary. We do apologize that some aspects did not meet your expectations, but we hope that the positive moments prevailed.   Note that the itinerary never matched the brochure. The revised itinerary never matched what the tour guide did. We were to have a tour the first day of arrival. That never happened. The view of Paris at night kind of loses its effect when you do it during the day. The second day we went to the palace of Versailles. They however did not provide entrance tickets and all tickets were sold out for that morning. Very poor planning and very disappointing. The bulletin board at our hotel (which was in a sketchy part of town) did have some information but it was in Spanish. A bit odd for an English guided tour. The rest of the tour was good. Just the first 2 days were very unorganized. And missing seeing the palace was BAD.Show more

  Our stay in Paris was not very good due to the poor location and quality of the hotel. We were to have an excursion the day we arrived but it was squeezed into the next day. This left us at the hotel with nothing planed. The hotel was in a vey bad part of the city with only little fats food places and we counted wander around too far due to the seedy location (industrial area). If we had at least ben close to downtown we could have gone to a nice restaurant and walked around. We were not very happy with this to say the leastShow more

  The itinerary was different from that listed on tourradar. I took a pre night because as per the advertised itinerary there was supposed to be an evening transfer to Montmartre on Day 1. I did not find any notice at the reception of the hotel and was informed by emergency on whatsapp (I contacted them) that the excursion for that evening was apparently cancelled and would be refunded. Then it happened that the Montmartre excursion was actually planned for the next day (so that pre night was useless). The other people had the same issue. The guide informed us that the itinerary listed on tourradar is an outdated one. Furthermore, the AC did not work in one of the hotels and we were asked to reside in a university 'hostel' on one of the other days (no AC as well). It was between 35-37 degrees. On a positive note, the guides were helpful and professional and the breakfasts in the hotels were good.Show more
