  We recently undertook the Charms of Burgundy with Alsace package tour with Europamundo, and it was a memorable experience for both myself and my spouse. Wine Tasting: A special mention goes to the two wine‑tasting sessions included in the program. These were well‑organized, authentic experiences that allowed us to savor Burgundy’s renowned wines and added greatly to the cultural immersion. Organization & Comfort: The logistics were smooth, with well‑timed transfers and comfortable travel arrangements. The pacing allowed us to enjoy both guided visits and personal exploration. Guides & Experience: The tour guides were knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive, enriching our journey with historical context and local insights. Areas for Improvement: At Besançon and Noyers, we felt a bit pressed for time. In Besançon, half of our allotted time was spent reaching and exploring the Citadel, which lies outside the old town. By the time we returned to the city center, it was almost time to depart, leaving little opportunity to fully appreciate the major attractions. A slightly longer stop at these locations would have allowed us to do justice to their rich heritage. Overall Impression: Europamundo delivered a well‑curated tour that balanced sightseeing, cultural immersion, and relaxation. The wine tastings were a delightful highlight, and despite the time constraints at a couple of stops, the overall experience was enriching and memorable.   The tour I selected was very good! This company really specializes in more self-guided or free time visits to key places rather than a fully guided tour. This is fine as the price reflects the type of tours they offer. The tour has people coming and going at different stops but this is not an issue and is well organized. The only let down on my particular tour was the hotel in Strasbourg was substandard, like a boarding house (albeit it was clean) and yet the other two hotels on the tour were really great and better than I expected. The bus was very good and the bus driver was always on time. The travel tour guide/host were great and very knowledgeable. Communication with the head office on the tour details was excellent and overall the value for the trip was excellent. I would use this company again.Show more
