  We have a cruise booked leaving Yokohama on 26 September 2026 and returning on 10 October 2026, so either a tour before or after the cruise would be good for us. We do not need flights to and from Sydney.

    We have visited most of the usual places, Toyoko, Mt Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and a driving tour all around Hokkaido, we will also be on a cruise which circumnavigates Japan, stopping at many of the ports, so we are looking for somewhere else, mainly interested in scenery or gentle walking with not a lot of change in altitudes.

    Since you have already visited many of Japan's classic destinations and will also be stopping at quite a few ports during your cruise, I agree that it would be much more interesting to explore somewhere a little different, with beautiful scenery and gentle walks rather than too much climbing or altitude change. For this type of trip, I would recommend a private tour rather than one of our small-group tours. Our group tours mainly focus on the more popular and classic cities, while a private itinerary gives us much more flexibility to explore less-visited areas and adjust the pace to suit you. Generally, exploring less-visited and more off-the-beaten-path areas with a private tour does tend to be more expensive than a standard group tour.

    This trip is 6 days and 5 nights. For the rather high price you quoted, I am very surprised you are only including 3 hotel nights when these kind of tours would usually include as many nights as the tour proposes. I would expect a hotel accommodation for 5 nights and not for 3.

    Is this a private tour with private driver and guide throughout or does it involve taking the Bullet train between cities? If that is the case, I am not sure this tour interests me as I want a stress free trip that doesn't involve carrying luggage and looking for my train platform in a station where hardly anyone understands English.

    In what's included, I also noted that breakfasts each morning at your hotel are included. However on day 3, I see "Meals: None." Why?

    I sincerely apologize for the confusion. I initially included only 3 hotel nights because I wasn't sure whether you had already arranged accommodation in Fukuoka for the first two nights. In the updated itinerary, I have now included all 5 nights of accommodation as expected.

    The mention of the bullet train in the "What's Included" section was part of our standard template and does not apply to your itinerary. Your trip does not involve any bullet train travel. Except for Day 2 (which is a small group tour), all other days are arranged as private tours with a dedicated driver and guide, so you won't need to worry about handling luggage or navigating stations.

    Hotel breakfasts are included for the morning following each overnight stay. In the first quotation, since the first two nights were not included, breakfast on Day 3 was shown as not included. Now that I have added the full 5 nights of accommodation, breakfast is included every morning starting from Day 2.

    I would like to ensure that as in the above-mentioned tour, the transfers from and to the airport are included in your quotation. A transfer from the airport to the hotel will be needed on my arrival in Fukuoka on Saturday 23 May and a transfer from the hotel to the airport will also be needed on Saturday 30 May.

    As I am an early riser and as I would like to ensure that I arrive early enough in each city to see all the sites planned in the itinerary in a reasonably leisurely fashion, I would like to bring forward the morning starts. For instance: On Day 3, considering that Nagasaki is at about 2 hours from Fukuoka, and that the program begins at 9am in Nagasaki, the departure should be at least 2 hours before that, that is before 7am.

    On Day 3, I would like to know if it would be possible to make a quick stop at Honmyo-ji temple or is too far from the other sites visited? At the end of the Day 3 schedule, it should not read "Return to Fukuoka" since the night is spent in Kumamoto.

    On Day 5, I don't understand very well what the exact itinerary is. Kumamoto to Kurokawa and then we return to Kumamoto for the night? But Day 6 states Kurokawa - Fukuoka. Please clarify.

    Looking at your cancellation charge table, I would request that balance of the tour be made 30 days prior to departure and that you adjust the cancellation charge to 50% at 30 days. This would reflect the current geopolitical uncertainty that could have sooner than later a devastating impact on the airline and travel industries.

  If I want to stay one more day in Nagasaki on my own, can I join 9/7 tour from Fukuoka, stay one more day in Nagasaki; and continue with the tour with the next group started on 9/8? What will be the price for single occupancy? If I need one more night in Nagasaki through booking with you, How much will the price?
